Even though a mobile app was included for tracking receipts, the experience of using felt very dated compared to most other modern solutions. You could upload receipts and submit expenses while traveling, BUT there was no OCR functionality that actually read the receipts. The automation of approved transactions to the general ledger was a huge time saver, making it a very cost-effective solution. Customer support was always quick to respond. > > **Cons**: The only thing that I didn't like about Nexonia was that it was expense report based so (with our setup) until the entire report was approved, it could not be synced to the general ledger even though some expenses were approved.
