We’ve been using it since 2019, and we rely on it to manage our mortgage investment company’s client loans and shareholder accounts. For loan administration, we use it to collect client payments, which are automatically posted to the correct account with the proper division of principal and interest. It also includes document storage, a call log, and a notes centre, which helps keep everything in one place. We can pull accurate payout statements and mortgage statements with just a few clicks, and even email them directly to the customer from within the program. A separate module, mortgage pool servicing, efficiently tracks our shareholder investments and issues share certificates accurately. It also calculates pool distributions and can issue tax slips at tax time. After the initial learning phase, the program is straightforward to use and navigate. Response time is good and downtime is rare. When we do run into an issue, support response time has ranged from good to acceptable. Onboarding was relatively easy, and we had dedicated support to guide us through each step of the process. While the pricing is high, it has been comparable to—or less expensive than—alternatives we considered. There is an option to integrate QuickBooks with the program, but we’ve chosen to keep them separate for now. They are also developing an AI help module, and it keeps getting better over time. > > **Cons**: The program is very robust, but it takes time to learn how to use all of its features. The help centre and AI assistant still seem to be in development, so finding answers without contacting support can be frustrating at times. More video tutorials would be a great addition. > > Like I mentioned, we have been using TMO since 2019 and it has become an important everyday part of our business.
