> **Pros**: I liked almost nothing about this product. I transitioned to it from a proprietary EMR which was built basically off PDFs of their paper forms, and from Epic, which is big and complicated but customizable

> **Cons**: Homecare Homebase is essentially like typing your documentation into a word document with prompts. It makes almost nothing easy, you can erase the prompts if you want which seems concerning, and often it forces you to do doublework.
> 
> Truly terrible. In both instances I went from a platform that was not amazing but was quite usable, to a platform that forced me to do every part of my job twice, and did nothing to help me along the way.

> **Cons**: Trainings leave something to be desired. It's a lot of prerecorded video that isn't engaging or captivating to the audience.

> It hasn't been too bad, and service outages are rare, however, there have been several times where HCHB support has apparently given up, with responses like "Must be a device issue" or "Uninstall/reinstall Citrix". With no help troubleshooting past those two responses.

> **Pros**: I really love the different options you have to upload documents in attachments and where you can put Wound Pictures or separate your Paper Visit Notes for billing. The ease to fax documents out of HCHB. The Workflow really helps you keep your tasks in order. Which everyone knows is helpful when you are multitasking with phone calls\! We have worked on special projects with HCHB too, and they have always been so helpful to design things the way we need them to run.

> **Cons**: I found the orders tracking a little difficult since you have to put a date and comment on each order you fax out, which can be very time consuming when working with a busy office who has a lot of orders. I do wish there was a way to mass stamp your orders with a date and a comment and fax them all out as one batch with a select all click.

> Overall HCHB has been very helpful in my life working in healthcare daily. It helps keep me on track with my Workflow. I have worked with many scheduling systems in my career, and it is easy to use with the mapping and ease of moving patients from clinician to clinician. There is a report for everything you need and is easy to use if you are a billing specialist too.

> **Pros**: Extremely robust program, can customize to your agency but also ensures you stay within regulatory requirements.

> **Cons**: Being a larger company its hard to communicate glitches or minor flaws in the system and see them be fixed.  IE maybe an inconsistent box that you cannot type/search in when all other boxes are - would be hard to get this resolved since its not a pain point but still is an annoyance for an end user.

> Its been a great experience for our company who moved from a smaller vendor to HCHB.  We knew with this change it would dilute the attention some since HCHB has a lot of customers but all and all they do an excellent job still giving us the attention we need to be successful on the product and the implementation team was top notch.
