> **Pros**: Have used SVN's older products for Software Repository purposes, So interface is familiar and intuitive. It can easily handle many remote developers all over the world contributing to one repository.

> **Cons**: It bundles many features we don't care about, and pricing isn't sufficiently a la carte, so as to avoid paying for many things you'll never use.

> Long history of using SVN products for Software Repository purposes. So I like the familiarity of the very intuitive and flexible user interface.

- Version management of source code is reliable and easy to use
- Directories are versioning, renaming of files is versioned - this is important\!
- Binary files are handled properly
- Change log / change list is automatically generated
