> **Pros**: This software makes perfecting patterns much more exact than purely by hand. It can save designers a lot of money and time by efficiently configuring pattern pieces.

> **Cons**: Learning to use this software is not easy to pick up quickly.  I took a class to learn this software in college and it was very difficult. I also think that Gerber software feels a bit outdated. It is not easy to navigate through.
