I appreciated that when adding family members, the last name auto-populated, and I loved that multiple windows could remain open at the same time without constantly redirecting me. Entering insurance information was convenient, and the pop-up windows made it easy to access important details quickly. I also liked being able to preset what I was scanning when scanning the same type of document for multiple patients. > > **Cons**: The imaging system was the most difficult part for me. Transferring X-rays was hard and time-consuming, which could slow down the workflow. We also did not use integrated phone software, but I think having that option would have made communication and tracking calls much easier. I also wish there were stronger digital paperwork options where patients could complete forms electronically and have them automatically upload into their chart. > > Overall, I had a positive experience using Dentrix for 7 years. It was reliable for patient management, insurance entry, scanning, and general front office workflow.
