Comments: Their platform is easy to set up, and if I have any questions they get back to me within a few minutes. They also never made me feel like my questions were unwise. Plus, anything that the platform did not do in the beginning, it now does. It wasn’t months that I had to wait for them to change either, it was often very quickly.

Pros:

I love that I can embed the ticketing platform into our website. I’m not sure if Eventbrite now does this, but at the time it didn’t. It is very good for us that we don’t have to send our purchasers to a different website. Our ticket purchasers mentioned that it’s great that they’re not redirected to another page to purchase. They’ve also said that the platform is very easy to use. We haven’t had any complaints, and we’ve had a few ticketed events in the past few months.

Cons:

I find that the form that we embed on our website can sometimes be finicky design-wise. Although, I know a lot of it is our website. I'm just picky about how everything looks.

Comments: Zeffy has made it possible for our small non profit retreat ministry to stay affordable for our participants.

Pros:

I love the ease of set up to accept donations, registrations and payments for our retreats. The fact that there are no fees allows us to keep our cost low while our financially secure participants can make donations to cover any fees Zeffy incurs.

Cons:

There have been no cons I've experienced.

Beware - this company refunded 65,000 dollars of event funding without any wrongdoing on our part.

Comments: Horrible. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with your credit card processing services for nonprofit organizations. As a nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on donations to fund our mission and were excited to learn about your promise of zero fees on credit card processing. However, our recent experience with your services has been incredibly frustrating and damaging to our organization. Recently, we received a significant donation of over $60,000 from twelve different companies that were eager to support our cause. However, to our shock and dismay, we discovered that your company had assumed fraudulent activity on the part of one of the credit card users relating to one of the companies that donated. This led to your company striking our account and refunding the entire amount without reaching out to us to confirm the legitimacy of the charge. What makes this situation even more frustrating is that we had already confirmed with someone from your team via email that our account was not fraudulent. Additionally, we were able to move $4,000 from the account into our bank account, which makes it even more confusing as to why the remaining $60,000 was refunded. This lack of communication and transparency on your part has caused us significant financial and reputational harm. The companies that donated to our organization are now confused and need to restart the donation proceedings. Zeffy did not bother to do their due diligence and kept our funds….

Pros:

This company is a sham and suspended my account a week before our meeting.

Cons:

This company is dogmatic, inflexible and unable to retract their wrongdoing. Beware.

In these times of high cyber fraud, Zeffy does everything in its power to protect donors and organizations from fraudulent activity. Our fraud protection processes are rigorous and we sometimes face the difficult decision to close an account in the event of high suspected fraud risk activities. In this specific case, the account was flagged by our fraud protection automated system twice for suspicious large transaction amounts, and we have received reports from donors who did not recognize such charges on their statements. We have been unable to verify the legitimacy of the account, and have made the difficult decision to close the account and refund all payments processed to the donors, for their protection. Zeffy has not kept any funds, and has informed the account owner of the situation via email and calls. We are sorry that your organization could not continue using the platform, and we are always available to answer any further questions or concerns. Zeffy Support Team

Comments: Great, Great, Great, and very happy that my son told me about this for our Lions Lighthouse Concert - Humanitarian Aid for Turkiye & Syria.

Pros:

The best that I like to say is that in the world of non-profits like Lions Clubs, there is none better as they do not charge a mandatory percentage.

Cons:

Great product that saves money

Comments: Using Simplyk has been a great experience, especially in saving us money but also in providing us with a great platform to do our fundraising. Their customer service team is one of the best I've ever dealt with, and I really appreciate having an account manager I can go to for assistance who is very quick to respond and do all they can to help us.

Pros:

The biggest selling feature of Simplyk for non-profits is that they cover the costs of all credit card transaction fees, which saves us a lot of money. On the user end, it's a very clean-looking website, and fairly simple to use. On the back end, setting up ticket pages and campaigns is straightforward and pulling reports is not very complicated. Integrating with Stripe was quick and easy - our accountant loves it!

Cons:

Since Simplyk seems to be a newer software, it is still missing some features that would be great to have and it's sometimes not as robust as we would like. It does not allow users (for us, people who are fundraising on our behalf) to be able to send emails to their sponsors in order to thank them for their donations. It would be nice to have more administrator control as well - there are some things I need to email to Simplyk team to do for me because I can't do them myself.
