> **Pros**: For complex flows, step functions help me a lot to understand the cascade of events in its diagrams. For example on onboarding new customers, there's a few third parties integration during the onboarding process and Step Functions helps me to track any failure during the onboarding journey. Integration with AWS Lambda and Cloudwatch happens seamless, so it's easy to identify bugs and track deffect root causes.

> **Cons**: No major issue to report using Step Functions. On large pipelines sometimes execution duration can be a bit challenging as workflows have limits on state transitions per second.
