> **Pros**: As a writer, being able to dictate my words into the manuscript gave me a considerable boost in production. With Dragon, I could dictate 5,000 to 6,000 words an hour.
> 
> **Cons**: The cons for Dragon are how unstable it could be. There is nothing worse than to dictate for a solid 20 minutes only to find out the words didn't record right. Plus the cost of Dragon to keep it updated is very prohibited.
> 
> I enjoyed using it on the first round. My production increased exponentially. But upon discovery the words didn't print as I had spoken. You have to take time to train the software to your voice. Also, I upgraded my computer and my old copy of Dragon didn't work on the new. The cost of Dragon also increased, and I could no longer find a way to make the cost worth it.
