This is essential for our K12 special education consortium that serves 12 rural school districts in the midwest. EIO Board is user friendly, and available in a variety of formats including an app for phones, for people on the go. > > **Cons**: There are so many features that we have not yet tried them all out. I know that more and more features have been added since our initial purchase, so getting regular updates about new features and how to use them would be great. There are a lot of resources on the web site though, and I've been able to find what I need on Savance's comprehensive main website. > > This has been a great solution for our particular situation. We are able to keep the schedules of all staff members up to date. If there are changes, employees can easily use the phone app to update their location or schedule. We really like the "future status" feature where a staff member can plan ahead to ensure that transitions between schools are made automatically at the set times. This has also been a great way to let all staff know if someone is out sick, or taking personal leave, or has an appointment. We truly use this as an Electronic In and Out board. We did away with emails going out to the whole organization asking "Is so and so here today?". The EIOBoard shows the schedule everyone works, it can group each employee under their supervisor, and also lists their phone extension. It's a very easy central location to find out if an employee is here today, what time they should be here, and what their phone number is. The Savance customer service is WONDERFUL, however, last time I needed to speak with someone I found they implemented a 'Call Service' where they take your information and have someone call you back, which took much longer. I used to call and speak with someone right away.
