> **Pros**: I've used consul in the past to migrate from LoadBalancers to NGINX and the console made it easy to list all services and backend ports. By creating templates we use it to get dynamic inventories for Ansible instead of static addresses.

> **Cons**: Not a complain at all but some clients have ticketing systems like ServiceNow and will be nice to have integration from Consul discovery to the ServiceNow CMDB
