Mollie - Example partner!

4.0 3 months ago

Comments: We integrate with a few external partners, and I can honestly state that Mollie is an example in how a partnership should work.

Pros:

Mollie is very open in their communication regarding new updates, issues, ... They're always available to have a chat when we have concerns about changes they did or plan to do, or if there was a bigger incident, are always very clear in actions taken to prevent this. Our company was planning to integrate with Payconiq, which was not possible through Mollie yet at that time, but after some discussions we came to the agreement that Mollie would deliver that integration earlier (and with good conditions ;-)), resulting in an even beter result. It's also a very stable system which doesn't require much maintenance from customer point of view.

Cons:

There was a time where we had quite some incidents short after each other, which caused a bit of customer impact on our customers. Nevertheless, we were informed very detailed about the root cause (it was a migration they were in), and were kept in the loop about corrective and proactive actions.

Fastest Payment Set-Up

5.0 11 months ago

Pros:

Mollie is easy to use. With a friendly user interface, it will always be my go-to platform to start receiving payments. The onboarding for me and/or clients is the easiest out there when it comes to a payment provider.

Cons:

Not as popular internationally as Stripe (yet!). Also doesn't support countries such as the US as of 2024.

Mollie freezes money / Dealer

1.0 3 months ago

Comments: Mollie freezes money A very questionable and worrying approach: Since the beginning of our partnership with Mollie, we have generated around 8 million euros in sales in our store via their platform. Today our account was unexpectedly frozen, with a balance of 15,000 euros, and Mollie is refusing to pay out this amount. Despite an attempt to clarify the matter with support, the account remained blocked. Allegedly, previous orders that were properly processed and confirmed via Mollie are to be reviewed. After five years of successful cooperation with Mollie, we are now deeply irritated and worried. P. S. But actually we have to be "grateful" to Mollie for this feaupaux. We have now looked around for alternatives on the market. There are also progressive payment providers such as "Stripe". The former [sensitive content hidden] of Stripe is the [sensitive content hidden] of Open AI. Thomas Zeitz

Pros:

Easy to install on Magento 2 platform Many payment methods

Cons:

Dealing with long-standing regular customers like us is unworthy. It reminds me of my worst experiences with Amazon Marketplace, when higher amounts of money were also suddenly frozen from us as retailers without any justification.

Terrible company

1.0 8 months ago

Comments: They describe everything very well, the service supports both payments and subscription, the pricing is nice. However, at any time, without giving a reason, they can delete your account irrevocably!
What happened to me, they confirmed documents, payment information, limits. And then suddenly deleted the account and wrote that it is irreversible. I now have to urgently look for an alternative and rewrite the api.
Do not fall for it!

Pros:

subscription function apart from basic payments good pricing

Cons:

They can delete your account irrevocably without giving a reason at any time!

Mollie is the best

5.0 3 years ago

Comments: Simply love it. The cheapest, the fastest and high quality. The holy trinity.

Pros:

I don't even have to think about it anymore. I've been using Mollie myself and for customers using webshops or just selling online through IG, messenger, ... for years. I've done several analyses and if your are in Belgium or Netherlands this is a no-brainer. Haven't found a single reason not to go with Mollie.

Cons:

Haven't found any cons yet... Customer support is good, ease-of-use is the best, both back and front-end

Great third party payment provider

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Very happy Mollie user, they have a solid base.

Pros:

It just works. It's beautifully designed and makes receiving payments easy. The pricing is competitive and Mollie offers a range of payment options.

Cons:

I've had multiple cases where the onboarding process took way longer. It's a bit unpredictable when it's busy or not. In the past, you were consistently able to open an account almost on the same day.

Probably the easiest payment processor in the world

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: If you are getting started with ecommerce and are looking for an easy solution to process your payments, look no further and go with Mollie. There are no setup fees, so you are free to leave whenever you like. Pay attention, literally all other software vendors out there!

Pros:

When I first heard about Mollie I thought "Do we really need another payment processor?" Turns out we did. Mollie takes everything that's painful out of the equation when it comes to payment processors: Onboarding is super-fast, setup is extremely easy and there are not 100 steps required to get online. It really is easy to use.

Cons:

It's certainly not the cheapest vendor. The disagios (their cut from the transaction fees) is quite high from an industry standard. But then again, you don't have any monthly fees or activation fees which makes it perfect for beginners.

Great tool for small business and ecommerce

5.0 4 years ago

Comments: Overall it is an easy to use and easy to implement payment system that I would recommend

Pros:

Super easy interface and also the setup is easy due to all the integrations it has with different platforms. The prices are also very good. the analytics are also great

Cons:

There could be a bit more options of payment methods. Although most will not need that for some it might be an ability to further serve the needs of clients. keep in mind that for small businesses you can only pay back customers if there is money in your mollie account. so take the amount of orders into account when selecting when mollie has to pay you out.

Slow onboarding, misleading documentation and support staff give incorrect information

3.0 4 years ago

Comments: Poor. After waiting 10 days (after being told 3) and getting incorrect information from their support team my account was denied without explanation.

Pros:

The website is slick, initial signup is easy and it does appear to support a decent amount of payment options.

Cons:

Their onboarding is slow, you get given incorrect information, both in the app's dashboard and by support staff you contact. It's entirely unclear when and if your account will be approved for payment.

Non fiable et discriminant

1.0 4 months ago

Comments: Pour une nouvelle boutique en ligne j'avais opté pour mollie car elle nécessite de moyens de paiement spécifiques. Ces moyens de paiements sont disponibles chez les autres processeurs de paiement mais l'intégration me paraissait plus simple avec Mollie. Je me suis donc dit pourquoi pas essayer. J'ai donc ouvert un compte mollie le 20 août, procédure facile et rapide qui m'a permis d'avoir ma boutique rapidement opérationnelle. Après quelques ventes, je reçois un mail m'informant que mon entreprise n'est pas active et que je dispose de quelques semaines faire le nécessaire. (en effet mon auto-entreprise avait été radiée par erreur quelques mois avant). J'entame immédiatement les démarches et mon entreprise redevient active une semaine plus tard. Je les informe immédiatement et je me reconnecte à ma dashboard mollie. Le site ne me reconnait plus et réagit comme si j'étais un nouveau client. Je dois refaire toute la procédure d'inscription et les paiements ont disparus dans mon dashboard. Je les contacte pour les informer du problème et là on m'apprend que mon compte a été cloturé définitivement car "mon organisation présente un risque potentiel pour mollie". Selon eux, les facteurs de risques sont les suivants : - Le modèle d'entreprise ;
- Les produits et services proposés ;
- La taille et la forme juridique de l'entreprise ;
- Le pays d'activité ;
Je m'adresse donc aux E-commerçants intéréssés par Mollie : - Si le modèle de votre entreprise ne plait pas à mollie, vous prenez le risque de voir votre compte cloturé ;
- Si votre boutique en ligne propose des accessoires pour la Cuisine ou la Maison, vous prenez le risque de voir votre compte cloturé ;
- Si la taille de votre entreprise comprend votre seule personne, vous prenez le risque de voir votre compte cloturé ;
- Si la forme juridique de votre entreprise est une auto-entreprise, vous prenez le risque de voir votre compte cloturé ;
- Si votre pays d'activité est la France, vous prenez le risque de voir votre compte cloturé ;

On m'avait recommandé Mollie.

Mollie = top

5.0 3 months ago

1.0 last year
