One of the most common requests from my partners is for a different pricing calculation method. For example, if a customer rents a car from 1 June to 31 July, and the daily rate on 1 June is €10, Renteon calculates the entire rental using the pickup date's price, resulting in a total of €610. However, some partners previously used systems such as Rental Car Manager, which automatically calculated the rental based on the rates for each period. In this example, it would calculate 30 days at €10 for June plus 31 days from July at €60, resulting in a total of €2,160. This approach is much simpler than using Pricing Optimization, where percentage adjustments have to be configured manually. Several partners have told me they would prefer a similar pricing model. Many of them also feel that Renteon lacks the flexibility and pricing options needed to maximize their competitiveness and profitability across different pricing scenarios. > > My personal experience with Renteon has been very positive.
