> **Pros**: Idera SQL tools for SQL Server 2000/2015/2018 were very intuitive and make the DBA responsibility more manageable and effective. I love when they release for instance virtual SQL instances where SQL backups were made into a virtual instance that can be accessed or run reports on. This also is very good showing the innovation that Idera brought to MSSQL.

> **Cons**: Probably lack of support as a lot of the setup and configuration had to be done by trial and error. That is the only thing but the tools were very easy to learn though it took some time as it would always be the case to be familiar with the software.
