Pros: Coverting to TimeSolv from Timeslips just made sense from an operationally standpoint. What I like most about TimeSolv is the ease of use and its features. I can use the desktop app, mobile app and web. For someone who works remotely and has attorneys who travel this make entering time and the billing process more efficient.

Cons: What I least like about TimeSolv is the ability to create more fields/categories on the client level. I would like to be able customize fields.

The conversion from Timeslips to Timesolv was completely smooth and painless.

Pros: Timesolv is very user friendly and visually pleasing. Despite the significant amount of data our law firm has stored, there are no lag times whatsoever with any of Timesolv's functions, unlike Timeslips. You can move between screens instantaneously, saving considerable amounts of time. Timesolv can handle a high volume of billing with absolute ease, and it can handle a variety of different types of invoices like fixed fee, split billing, etc. They provide you with your own Timesolv expert to assist with the initial conversion as well as any questions/concerns as long as you have this software, whose responsiveness is unrivaled. Simply put, moving from Timeslips to Timesolv is like transporting straight to the modern age from the stone ages.

Cons: The reporting is surprisingly limited. There are not as many options for report generation as we would like to see. However, they are very receptive to feedback and are working on improving this feature.

Comments: Timeslips is a hulking horror legacy software from the 1990's. Converting to Timesolv was a huge improvement.

Pros: The Timeslips conversion performed the TimeSolv made my transition to the new platform easy. My quirky client/numbering system was preserved in TimeSolv, make all new clients and cases congruent with my old data.

Cons: There is a bit of a learning curve, and associating contacts with every new client/case is cumbersome compared to Timeslips. This is due to the aforementioned quirky format I prefer to make it work with the paper files.
