Simple & Efficient

5.0 last year

Comments: Really positive experience, enjoy using Occupop simply for how user friendly it is.

Pros:

We love the way it is so straight forward to use, shows very clearly where we are at with vacancies & processing applicants. Adding new users is also very simple.

Cons:

Only thing would be applicants applying from overseas.

Good product overall but could do with some feature enhancements/changes

4.0 last year

Comments: It is useful to have all applications in 1 place and the hiring flow is useful to remind me what stage of the process each applicant is at.

Pros:

The ability to custom the hiring workflow

Cons:

1) Once you reject an applicant it does not automatically navigate back to the specific job page/hiring flow. You are required to press back, it is slow to load (I have high speed internet). When going through hundreds of CVs its time wasting to have to navigate backward again and again. 2) Also, I would like to see more useful information in the summary view of a candidate's application without having to open it. For example, their location, a preview of their opening statement and perhaps the first line of their most recent work experience. This would allow me to reject unsuitable candidates without having to navigate into their CV page. #) The prompt to send a rejection email should be easy to switch on and off and I shouldn't have to select "do not send" candidate a message, or "reason for rejection" for every single rejection. Some applicants are completely unrelated to the role and do not warrant the effort it takes to give an explanation for rejection. Again, we have hundreds to get to.4) Finally, we have numerous rejected applicants reapply again and again. I have to navigate into the applicants CV and go to the "activity" section to confirm this. If they have previously been rejected - based on their email address perhaps - this should be clearly flagged without you having to open their application. Their previous application and date they were rejected should be clearly displayed beside their name

Occupop usage in a Social Care Organisation

3.0 2 years ago

Pros:

The over view capacity when it works people apply and when we respond they don't seem to get the notification and sending further documents is not user friendly for them, 9 out of 10 it fails

Cons:

We are not notified and therefore remain unsure as to knowing if the candidate got our response via occupop, we ultimately end up contacting them manually to know for sure.

Great value for money

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: Very good, easy to use and great value for money

Pros:

The ease of using it, and being able to advertise on other websites and link it back to Occupop (using the share option) so that you have all applications in one place and can keep track of where they have come from

Cons:

The formatting in the advert can be a nightmare (you can't just copy an add from work, as it changes sizes / loses bullet points etc).

Occupop and me

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: The Team [SENSITIVE CONTENT] are fantastic. Always on hand always happy to help, no question is silly and extremely knowledgeable.

Pros:

Easy to advertise, very easy to track and very easy to navigate

Cons:

I don't like how the advertisements look, the font and layout doesn't always look professionally written. I would like the 2 choices when setting up a screen call or Interview in the templates, currently it says Interview. This would be most helpful in showing how busy the recruiter is. Set alerts after a certain period of time the user is sent an alert to say a certain document has not been returned. Connect our company LinkedIn with Occupop - CV to go directly into Occupop. When sending a message CV to the Hiring Manager I would like to be able to send to several hiring managers at the same time. I would like the software to remember the email addresses of external people I would like invited team members list to come up alphabetically not jumbled I would like a test Job Site for users to view new forms/paperwork etc. I have other ideas I believe would be of benefit to new Occupop or potential Occupop purchasers

Time saving applicant tracking system

5.0 last year

Comments: Very good, great customer service, any problem is resolved on the same day.

Pros:

Occupop is easy to deploy. We had roles posted on the same day of purchase. Also easy to use, both for admins but also end-users.

Cons:

Sometimes it creates multiple candidate profiles even if the email address is the same.

Great recruitment software

5.0 5 years ago

Comments: The main benefit has been saving time advertising vacancies and being able to publish them in different websites in one step.
Can easily give access to colleagues involved in the recruitment process so they can view and manage the recruitment stages.
Bidrecruit have been very responsive to any small changes we've requested.

Pros:

User friendly and time effective software. Easy and quick to advertise vacancies and publish them in the chosen advertising websites, all in one step. Clear overview of candidates, helps to manage the recruitment process, particularly when dealing with high volume of candidates.

Cons:

It would be great if in future there was an option to manage candidate post recruitment ie to include interview notes and some aspects of the pre-employment stage.

A solid option for ATS

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

From the initial adoption of the system, things ran very smoothly. The clean and simplistic user interface ensures staff can pick it up very quickly. Very customisable to meet your needs. Workflows that make sense can be created. Posting to multiple job sites takes no time at all and can also be arranged through the system. The option to send personalised emails out in bulk is also useful.

Cons:

Would like to see integration with HR systems if at all possible.

Comments: From day 1 the support I have received has been second to none.[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] has been so helpful I can pick up the phone anytime and he will sort any query ,he is fantastic at his job and has made the whole experience very easy.I recommend Occupop to everyone I know in recruitment. The great thing is that you can try before you buy,and I assure you once you try it you won't do without it!

Pros:

I cant reccommend Occupop highly enough. It has been the best thing I have brought into my Company,it cuts the role of recruitment in half. It's professional ,easy and interactive and i honestly could not be without it in my role.

Cons:

No cons at all,it's very easy to use and you can set other people up to use it.

Great way to find motivated hungry recruitment agents you may never have found.

4.0 7 years ago

Comments: 2 new recruiters I would never have spoken to.

Pros:

I like the bidding system where recruiters bid and pitch for your business. I ended up getting bids from smaller recruitment companies who were specialised in that area and you could tell from the effort they put into their pitch that they would work hard on your open positions.

Comments: Overall experience is I absolutely like the system as the overall person for responsibility to ensure safe staffing levels in the service it give me a great helicopter view of where post are in the process.

Pros:

Easy of use can put up on screen and a few staff in management can view the candidates. it is also so simple to place people into the different categories. interview not interview and you can track where people are in the process . so simple then to send a group email response

Cons:

as of yet I can not see any cons we are new to the system in the service and the training & support from the company is excellent

Comments: Overall it has been a good experience so far.

Pros:

It is very user friendly, and well laid out.

Cons:

One aspect for us is we have strict vetting and screening to adhere to being in security. We find the application aspect difficult as we would need 5 years worth of employment history with no gaps, so therefore would love the option on the application section to not just be one large text box but that they are unable to continue past without completing a full 5 year work history. As we find with just one large text box people are not completing it accurately and bypassing it.

Saving Time, Huge cost Saving with Excellent Hiring Software

5.0 last year

Comments: Excellent software, easy to use, easy to navigate. The support has been exceptional at every stage especially onboarding, however there is very little support required as the software is so good and so user friendly

Pros:

The biggest impact for an SME is that each job advertised via Occupop software goes live on more than 14 job boards at the same time, which saves an enormous amount of time, energy and resources while ensuring you are getting in front of talent. The age old adage of "time is money" has never been truer when it comes to hiring new talent and for an SME, using Occupop gives a huge advantage to compete alongside the big players in a very tricky saturated market.

Cons:

there isnt anything I like least about occupop although if there was an option to have dictation at some stage on the software it would be super for drafting emails or new job specs

BidRecruit - A fantastic tool!

5.0 6 years ago

Comments: From the moment we subscribed to BidRecruit, we haven't looked back. It takes the pain out of recruiting. We had another account with a different jobs website and due to the success of BidRecruit in finding candidates for our organisation, we have decided to phase the other website out in 2019. It's also pleasing to see a small company grow rapidly, a very deserved success!

Pros:

- Ease of use - Helpful and friendly service from the support team - Reliability - Value for money - Ease of feedback - Compliance with GDPR

Cons:

Nothing. I honestly couldn't fault the software!

Occupop - streamlining recruitment

4.0 4 years ago

Comments: Very good experience and really happy with the platform

Pros:

It's user friendly and has a nice interface to it. It's easy to navigate between candidates, move them onto the next stages and setup interviews.

Cons:

When selecting multiple candidates you can only select those that are visible. You need to select 'Load More' in order to capture the remaining candidates. Sometimes we could have over 100 candidates to process and it would be easier to select all at once instead of the smaller blocks.

Does not have all the bells and whistles for a busy recruitment campaign or large employer

4.0 2 years ago

Comments: It's ok. Having used a better system previously it's very easy to spot the flaws and let downs of Occupop.

Pros:

Ease of use, ability to post to multiple job sites at once

Cons:

Candidate tracking is not adequate Cannot select multiple CV's to schedule interviews with multiple time slots available - too busy in any given day to to individually invite all received candidates to interview Basic package very expensive for what it actually offers in terms of managing recruitment for a large organisation

Overall this is good but I have formatting issues and cannot enter a deadline for jobs.

3.0 7 years ago

Pros:

You can reach many different job boards but all of the applications are centralised into one place.

Cons:

It was my understanding that if I disabled the external advertising functionality on a role, I could advertise a new job externally in it's place and still work on the former job in the background. But the only way to work on something in the background is to also list it as a "live" job. Which means we reach our live jobs limit very quickly in a very busy period of recruitment for our company.
