She took the time to go step by step and helped us figure out the solution. They also offered the text of commonly used review questions for you to create and setup yourself. > > **Cons**: The "integration" with Gusto sounds much better than it is. It pulls over the employees name and email most of the time. Less than half the time it pulls over their direct supervisor. That is the extent of the "integration", so it is easier to just do the setup yourself on their platform. The automation is also not what I was expecting. We thought we could configure it to automatically launch review cycles for employees based on their hire date. That is not possible and PerformYard recommended we just launch the review cycles on a monthly basis for every employee. That method works, but is sadly one of the key reasons to invest in a tool like this. > > After 3 years we decided to go another direction. Functionally, this will get the job done. That makes zero sense. Managers also continue to miss the second confirmation button, it is located randomly throughout the program. All-in-all it seems like a clunky application, too many odd terms/terminology and just to exhausting to learn. I dislike how convoluted it is. > > Prior to using PerformYard, we used Google Forms and Microsoft Excel, a total mess, therefore I am glad that PerformYard puts all the evaluation questions/ratings in one place without causing anything else to fail. No longer do I have to physically search through paper HR files for information on previous evaluations etc... since it is now available on-line. Being able to impersonate users is helpful when the employees can’t figure out how to use the social feed and I was pleasantly surprised that it did not crash this time. The biggest issue is that I cannot award multiple badges in one single post to the same employee which is a tremendous waste of time and therefore the recognition process feels like an obligation since I have to repeat it.
