> **Pros**: Overall, SmarterCommerce Payment Processing represents a sorely needed set of features and functionality for users of JD Edwards and does so by taking full advantage of the native capabilities of the system and providing end to end functionality. The software addresses all of the needs a business would have in processing orders with credit cards. We are among the earliest adopters of SC and have used it with great success for well over a decade.

> **Cons**: Due to the nature of credit card processing, SC relies on connections to your payment gateway, and in the instance in which connectivity to these resources cannot be established, the JDE invoicing process could potentially be interrupted, however in today's world of reliance upon internet connectivity, this is no different than many if not most other products.

The software performs efficiently and effectively and looks and feels like JDE programs from a user perspective. It is clear and easily understood, and the integration to the financials saves our staff significant time relative to daily credit card reconciliation; what used to take hours per week is down to minutes with SmarterCommerce. There is no regular maintenance or manipulation required within the setup of the software; it's "set it and forget it" feature makes it easy to manage.
