We use Box mostly for document backup

5.0 2 months ago New

Comments: Overall I am a big fan of Box and will continue using it. It has saved my bacon a few times and to be honest it's my backup against being hacked and my data ransomed.

Pros:

Box has been great for us for years. It's mainly a backup tool but has saved us many times. We try to back everything up once a week. I also really like the mobile app. In the beginning I was using it all the time to transfer stuff back and forth to and from my phone and computer.

Cons:

The only thing I really don't like about Box is the limitation of the file size for transfer. I know I might be petty but it can be an inconvenience when we have large files.

Box for business is great

5.0 2 weeks ago New

Pros:

Box makes it easy to share larger files that we cannot send via email. Doesn't matter if they are in our organization or not. It's a great way to send files.

Cons:

There isn't a lot to not like about Box other than the added cost for licenses. But even that is a bargain.

Solid File Sharing System

5.0 2 months ago

Comments: I have been using Box for many years. As an early adopter, I can say that the brand has been loyal to it’s early adopters and that is really appreciated. I only ran into an issue once with a storage related issue and their support team had to run a script to fix it but they were very responsive as they tackled my request in a few business hours which was impressive. Highly recommend.

Pros:

Generous data storage allowance Competitive Pricing Top-notch support team and I’m talking from experience.

Cons:

Sometimes some files get duplicated so you might have to delete doubles manually but I’d rather have my files doubled than deleted. So far the archiving on Box has been a pleasant experience as I never experienced data loss.

Google & Microsoft docs can finally live in the same collaborative space

4.0 2 months ago New

Pros:

I love the ability to have Google and Microsoft documents all in one folder that can be shared with others, operate in a collaborative space, and keep everything organized for all parties.

Cons:

I haven't yet run across anything that I didn't like about Box yet.
