> **Pros**: Excellent support, highly configurable, great reporting tools. Covers almost everything we need from a PLM/QMS system.

> **Cons**: Administration is sometimes complex. Validated system updates sometimes lag non-validated system updates significantly.

> We implemented Propel in early 2023 and it has been very effective for us in managing documentation, engineering changes, corrective and preventive actions, nonconformances, and more. The flexible, configurable solution allows us to find creative methods to meet business needs, and the dashboarding and reporting tools that come with the Salesforce platform allow easy real time data monitoring and analysis.

> **Pros**: What I love most about Propel is its incredible efficiency and comprehensive functionality. It’s an all-in-one powerhouse that keeps our entire eQMS on track and aligned with regulatory requirements.

> **Cons**: As a fully remote company, one challenge we've encountered is the lack of flexibility with the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) system. Currently, users outside of recognized IP addresses must manually input a token after their password, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, the absence of a mobile app limits our ability to manage approvals and training tasks on the go, which is a key need for remote teams like ours. Enhanced mobility and authentication flexibility would make the platform even more effective.

> **Cons**: there are lots of bugs. for example  creating and exporting PDF reports do not work. or after we updated to a news revision last year, there was a limitation on File lenghts that was not there before. these issues atre fixed in subsequent releases However, for us to upgrade we need to go through a validation process that is costly and time consuming.

The platform is highly customizable — we've been able to build out complex automations and integrations that we fully own and manage. What makes this especially powerful is that Propel runs on Salesforce infrastructure, meaning we can leverage the full breadth of Salesforce's native capabilities underneath. The underlying architecture is already there; Propel just unlocks it for a quality and product management context. For a team that needs flexibility and control over their workflows, it delivers.

> **Cons**: The flip side of being built on Salesforce is that some limitations come with the territory. Certain out-of-the-box functionalities — particularly around the UI and some platform features — are not customizable, which can be constraining when you need the tool to behave differently. We don't always have control over those areas. On top of that, Salesforce governance rules apply, meaning there are things we simply can't do or configure because of platform-level restrictions that are outside of Propel's — and our — control. It's a tradeoff: the Salesforce foundation gives us a lot, but it also sets boundaries we have to work within.
> 
> Overall, Propel is a powerful platform for managing complex change workflows, especially for teams that need deep configurability and integration capabilities. The learning curve is real, and working within Salesforce's governance boundaries requires creativity, but the flexibility it offers makes it worth it for our use case.

> **Cons**: The user group session room was too small and hard to hear the speakers. If each session had its own room, it would have helped.
