Avaza is definitely a one stop shop for projects
Comments: Task inventory can be built, estimates can be made quickly, tasks can be created from estimates, and clients can approve bills in a snap after receiving them.
Pros:
Everything having to do with the financial status of a project, from invoices to accounts receivable and payable, can be generated with the help of this program.
Cons:
Some of the features I would expect from a project management system are missing. Nonetheless, they are always developing new features and listening to feedback.
Avaza is actually fantastic
Comments: We're a service company with people spread out all over North America. Billing used to be a hassle before Avaza, but now it's far easier. Our team members enter their timesheets into Avaza and our finance team creates the billing twice a month. We've more than tripled our line items for billing and are spending about half as much time as before in getting our bills to customers. Customer support has also been fantastic, and open to our suggestions for new features. When they do roll out a new feature, it just works.
Pros:
It's great for tracking time, invoicing, and has loads of great reports.
Cons:
Email integration. It would be great if it had a way to email directly into and out of tasks.

great tool to keep track of time allocated to projects and invocing
Pros:
Stupidly simple way to create an invoice based on the hours dedicated to a project/customer
Cons:
Reporting and tracking can be a bit tricky (the data is there thought) Exporting to excel could be useful maybe too much development on the collaboration side
An Incredibly Helpful Productivity Tool
Comments: Avaza is an incredibly helpful productivity tool. It has allowed to me do my freelance marketing and production work efficiently, to share projects as part of a team, to breakdown billing for invoicing, and to have a variety of information requested by my clients at my fingertips at a moment's notice.
Pros:
The reports have been incredibly helpful to me in assessing time spent on different tasks and projects, as well as breakdowns of billable hours.
Cons:
I wish the timer was based on actual clock start and stop times, rather than a stopwatch system. I often leave the timer running because I've forgotten to turn it off, and calculating back to my actual stop time is tedious.
Alternatives Considered: Harvest
Reasons for Choosing Avaza: I was using it in conjunction with Toggl at the time, because, at the time, Asana did not have time tracking functionality.

Excellent Business Tool for Time Sheets, Invoicing and Project Management!
Comments: It has been excellent, for years. I am always impressed with their quick responses when I have a question about how to use something. Their customer service is also very polite which I really appreciate these days!
Pros:
I've been using Avaza for years to organize my small business. Their product us great, from organizing my project schedules, to invoicing and time sheets. When I've come across something that I can't figure out their customer service is personable and quick to fix. There have even been times they take requests for new or updated options! Top quality.
Cons:
I haven't had any issues with Avaza. I'm still working on using the scheduling component but I think that is more me than them! I would like the option to be able to customize invoices a bit more (font size, etc.) but not a dealbreaker.
Alternatives Considered: Quicken, Basecamp and Asana
Reasons for Switching to Avaza: Avaza offered the services I needed for my business, including excellent time sheet options, mobile time sheets, easy invoicing, and reporting, among others. The other products were more project management and did not offer invoicing. Avaza let me do it all with one product.

Great Project Management Tool To Get The Job Done
Comments: Really good - the support on offer is first class, always fast and thorough. The reporting side is also really valuable and we plan to use that more as our needs grow.
Pros:
We've been using this for 6+ years now and love it. I'd tried a lot of other systems but this is easy to use across the team, easy to customise and whilst it's really good in terms of projects and task lists, it's invaluable in terms of managing resource and visually seeing what people are working on to help prioritise and get things done.
Cons:
Sub-tasks are a frustration - you can have them within tasks but it's very basic, you can't assign them or give them due dates. It's on the roadmap we hear so will be a welcome addition when it's in place.

I find Avaza to be very easy to use and navigate, and it has all the core components I require for invoice and task management for my small business. I compared Avaza to other management systems including Asana, Monday and Scoro, and found it to be a great balance between affordability and functionality.
Cons:
I would love to see the invoicing section upgraded. I would like to be able to re-organize items that are listed in the invoice as I build it, so that I can arrange items by groups or logical order.

Avaza Just Right for Our Small But Mighty PR Firm
Comments: Avaza was easy to implement into our public relations firm and provides the functionality we need including project management, time and expense tracking, invoicing, reporting and analysis — with many automation features that save time and increase productivity.
Pros:
Ease of use: well-designed interface; responsive customer service
Cons:
No major complaints; However adding the capability to model an engagement as a fixed monthly fee up to a set number of hours, with hours exceeding that fixed fee in a given month being counted as hourly, would be of value.

A great project management tool for businesses
Comments: We have been using Avaza since 2019 and it has transformed the way we manage tasks and projects. It has simplified our quotation and invoicing process and we are able to produce insightful reports that we are able to filter or customise for Finance and Project Management. We have also made suggestions on features we would like to see and later they have been implemented, which is great to know they listen to their customers.
Pros:
Avaza is reliable, simple and easy to use. They are very quick to respond through their webchat too if you ever need help or have any queries.
Cons:
Nothing in particular, however it would be nice to a have a toggle to switch off/hide sections that we don't use.
Alternatives Considered: monday.com, ClickUp and Asana

Comments: This is the only app I have that I'm using daily and I see real value every time I use it.
Pros:
Simple to deploy, integrate in my processes and in my day-to-day business management
Cons:
Still haven't found a real downside. Cloning 100% of the project, tasks and project configuration would be great, but it forces me to think about any potential differences in my projects.

Freelancer Life Saver
Pros:
As a freelancer who has to track time differently for each job and everyone wants invoices done a different way, Avaza has been so helpful. Not only does it help when it comes to invoicing to keep things organized, but the time tracking has helped me understand how long tasks are taking me and HOW I'm spending my days and make adjustments from there. An essential tool for freelancers and those curious about their task/time habits. Also, it's free. Rarely do you find good quality FREE products but Avaza is one of the good ones!
Cons:
Getting invoices the way I want them is still a trial and error. I wish when I went to adjust how I want the invoice displayed that it would remove what's currently in there and redisplay with the new conditions. However, it just adds the same tasks/hours in a new format so it doubles up instead of replacing the old format.

Great project and resource management tool
Comments: I've looked into so many project + resource management tools – from Trello to Airtable to Monday.com – and Avaza is the only one that allows me to create projects, estimate hours, manage capacity, and track time in the same platform, without spending a lot of time configuring it. I was able to set up Avaza using a project spreadsheet I had already created and the whole configuration process was pretty quick.
Pros:
I love that it combines resources management and project management into one tool. Perfect for small design studios and agencies that need to know if their employees have the bandwidth to take on a new project (it also takes into account holiday/vacation time!). I use Avaza to create project estimates for clients, knowing that I can easily import from a spreadsheet and adjust timeline/dependencies once the project is confirmed. All on the free plan, too!
Cons:
The UI could be a bit better-designed. There are some things, like the top toolbar design and the navigation menu for projects, that aren't really the best user experience. But then again, I'm a designer. My only complaint is that it's hard to bulk-edit tasks and it's not possible to do so with CSV import; you can't even select multiple tasks to delete, which can be an administrative time suck if you have a lot of tasks to edit/delete from a project.
Alternatives Considered: Airtable, Trello, monday.com and Toggl Track

Avaza- Time Tracking & Back tracking
Comments: over all a nice tool to track our timesheet and backtrack work which we did on the past
Pros:
We used to clock our time sheet in our organization , alo it help us to keep track of work which we do daily to be updated on the tool, It is helpful in backtracking the work which we did on the past
Cons:
Recently if i update as 0:30 , it is getting updated 0:50, same for all other timing not sure if there is a glitch or bug in the tool

I'll Never Use Another Software
Comments: Easy to use and seamless once you get setup. Overall I love all their features.

The time tracking and filter reporting system were a must have for me when shopping for softwares. Avaza is the only software that met those needs perfectly.
Cons:
If I had to put something, I'd say that task roll-overs aren't as suitable as I would like. I would like for the new created tasks to be able to roll-over with more clarity as to which new job this is. Also, I do not like that completed tasks continue to show up as a timesheet task after completion as this over-populates and confuses this area. This would be never ending if you had weekly task completions that rolled over.
The best all-in-one solution for project management and automated billing

Avaza has allowed us to streamline our operations, resources and manage different projects more efficiently. It also provides us with very good analytical functionality for creating reports that benefit our business.

The current interface is very well optimized by the avaza team for me I have no problem for the moment with the application
Awesome Value Robust Features
Comments: Overall it is a GREAT value for the money, they are spot on with value/$. While I miss some of the enterprise level features that SmartSheets and their competitors offer, I find the variety and quick to implement features of AVAZA to be outstanding!
Pros:
The price point on this software is PERFECT for small startups, the support is included without heavy add on cost and the support is VERY GOOD, quick and EASY to understand!. Architecturally the layout is very nice, the user interface is easy to navigate and the color schema is pleasant. Working in the tool is mostly straightforward and easy to figure out without watching a ton of self help videos.
Cons:
The reporting tool could use a minor update to the user interface so things are a little easier to use, The collaboration features could also use an update to have some sort of chat like function making collaboration easier. Zapier connection is nice but seems to be picky, one of my zaps to create Avaza tasks works for everyone on the team except one person. Kind of weird but not critical.

Great Billing System for Professional Services
Comments: Great product at a reasonable price. Can help a small company be professional and appear big.
Pros:
1) Professional Invoicing- electronic or paper options and highly customizable. 2) Time Sheets - These are easy and flexible. Love the copy from prior week feature. Time sheet entry is based on projects I've set up with my clients. Tracks against my budget. 3) Reports - these are helpful to run several times a month to see how I'm performing to budget. I can save my favorites. 4) Customer Service - Staff is always available quickly when I need help. 5) Integrations - Integrates easily with email and PayPal.
Cons:
I wish they had a simple workflow or training feature that explained how to initially setup: Inventory Items, Projects, Sections, Tasks and Categories and then explained how they related to invoices and time sheets. I figured it out, but it wasn't intuitive when I started.
