In addition, Visual-Eyes simplifies our life in two ways: all of the integrated features For example, invoice payment with our POS, spectacle lens ordering with our labs, contact lens ordering, Telus portal insurance submissions, and now RFID frame inventory and GoTo VOIP phone connectivity. As such we have created our own spreadsheets to do inventory checks. These items are still available to sell within Visual Eyes however, so we can easily invoice sales of these items with ease. > > Though we are a small clinic, we purchased the whole package in 2008 so that we could be completely paperless, and all aspects of the business would integrate together- the dispensary, the appointment bookings, the examination room, the contact lens ordering. The system is intuitive, very reliable, and the support team resolves any issues in a timely manner, however we have had no major issues. Our payment system is integrated with the Visual Eyes which makes it easier to give patients options for payment at home, and easy reconciliation. Our website integrates with Visual Eyes to allow online bookings which patients really love. Notifications and reminders to patients are also possible and it saves the staff lots of time. There are far more features within the system and with every upgrade that I am sure we have not even tapped.
