> **Pros**: The black popup that appears showing all the programming in a tag is a nice reminder  ...but also gets in the way sometimes so you have to keep moving away to a blank spot

> **Cons**: - the supplied dials only look like car dashboard dials ...where is full 360deg capability ...I would have expected a 0-360 dial with fully scalable input min/max limits and definable output start/end rotation points. I also tried to reverse engineer a copy of the RoundGauge SVG ...but could not get past features linked to some external website. Fortunately I  could  build a fully 360 dial from scratch. 
- The present fixed-size alarm table is not nearly good enough. Having fixed columns widths makes the alarm message very cramped. Surely someone at Indi.An noticed this before me ? ...who does your ergonomics testing
- Using Java Script is QHMI's way of adding adhoc user logic/features. I have never used JS before for Automation work ...so have found the lack of syntax guidelines frustrating.

- My NZ client has a very limited use of security in their present HMI (based on entering a number value in a tag). When I turned on security in QHMI this forces one to enter user/pw first off before you can do anything. It would be nice to have an initial option to not require a login ...but if you want to access higher/secure feature THEN you have to go to a login page. My present work around uses a tag where the TextColor is invisible ...BUT you can still dbl-click on it to show the value
- from just above if TextColor for a tag is set to transparent why does dbl-click then highlight the tag's value ...ie it is not actually transparent

As an Automation Engineer I get given a package so have to make it work.

My New Zealand client had already chosen this package based on it being more economical than other major suppliers (WinCC, Intouch, Schneider Vijeo). 
Having it run on a regular PC allows flexible options.

QHMI feels 'green' in that there are surprising holes in the supplied features ...eg Cons as per just above

I am pleased how readily the developers implement my suggestions for new features. eg being able to rotate an arrow properly using center left/right options

I am also impressed with various features of QHMI I have never seen elsewhere.
- every data field on screen can have a Click Event programmed ...each one also being able to have multiple actions.
- it is very useful in Component Logic section to have multiple entries and condition logic ...nice overall feature

Thanx also to \[sensitive content hidden\] on support ...I feel I bombarded him sometimes. Thanx to \[sensitive content hidden\] for his latest email about how to enter these comments without a login ..I was just going to reply back to him about how to do this.
