User Friendly and streamlined

Comments: Initiating the software was so easy. A representative met with me weekly to discuss progress and the needs of staff and the company.

Pros:

Their customer support representatives are knowledgeable and friendly. I have never waited more than an hour to resolve a problem.

Cons:

It doesn't have all of the functions that I look for, but it is a great program

GREAT EXPERIENCE

Comments: I have called multiple times and have always received great service with friendly tech people.

Pros:

Allot of time saving options that make charting easy.

Cons:

Some features were difficult to set up, but customer service was amazing at helping with this!!

BEWARE

Comments: Horrible Company. They trick you into a 3 year contract and will not release you from the contact even though you decide after 1 month you do not like the program.
So you are supposed to know you like the program after watching a demo. Not happy with their business practices at all.

Pros:

The program is great for larger facilities. We sre only 10 beds. It's too complicated for our small home

Cons:

How they lock you into a 3 year contract without consent.

Comments: ECP staff have been incredibly helpful, from sales to help desk, billing, and pharmacy support.

Pros:

Daily task lists and easily customized care plans allow for simple and effective charting and tracking of facility duties. It is some work to get set up, but ECP has great support staff to aid in the process. Charting is very simple and easy to follow. Pharmacy integration eases order processing, verifying orders and changes.

Cons:

Reordering medication requires review before being submitted to pharmacy

Comments: Very Good!

Pros:

Very user friendly for staff to use and its used across the fox valley so many caregivers are familiar with the program. Also, the customer service staff are AMAZING, they are always kind, helpful, patient, and have excellent follow up.

Cons:

For follow ups such as patches, Somehow make a follow up that can immediately ask them if they removed the previous patch. I am currently only able to do it 5 minutes later and we have to enter a separate patch removal as a treatment. Staff often forget to remove the old ones if we are not doing this. One other suggestion I'd like to put out there is I wish we could select certain parts of the ISP for the "active cares" that we want to for a quick reference for our staff. Even though it is a shortened version, it still is not efficient for us. Our hopes was the active cares would be similar to a form you'd see printed off in nursing homes on patients doors with instructions for CNA's. We have a few different forms we use like this internally but it would be amazing to have something be made from the ISP so your not re doing the work in two different area's. Currently we use a separate form which has the following areas listed on one page. These are the main topics with a few examples: Mental Status (example-alert/oriented) -Speech (example-difficult to understand)-Mobility Assistance(example-Wheelchair)- Transfer Assistance-Grooming Assistance-Special Equipment- Eyesight/Hearing- Medical Monitoring- Paralysis-Skin-Bathing Assistance-Oral Care-Dressing- Eating Assistance- Toileting Assistance-Night Services- Behaviors/Safety- Medications- Activities- Advanced Directives- Appointments- Housekeeping- Other Services - Evacuation Capability in Emergency.

Best for our facility

Pros:

I love that everything is in one place. My role in ECP as the BOM is easy and simple. It's easy to find information needed and to keep track of observation notes as well.

Cons:

Nothing, I think it's perfect for our facility. Never to many issues. The only time I got frustrated was when it went down for a day, but other than that its been geat.

ECP no easy

Pros:

the cart set up screens. Easy to identify a resident.

Review of ECP

Comments: We have been using ECP for 8 years now. I have been approached by other companies to look at their product, but there are little things ECP has that others don't.

Pros:

This software has all we need right at our finger tips. Especially for medpassers in a CBRF. They are not nurses so the picture of meds, the uses, the ability to look at the drug use. The fact that as an Administrator of the business I can go back and look at alot of different reports that are important to me. The ease of charting is so helpful otherwise it doesn't get done to my specifications. I also like the fact that our pharmacy is directly linked to ECP.I feel it is very easy to use, even for a person who is not a computer person.Customer service is awesome.

Cons:

I am not sure I have "least" remark about the software.

Comments: Fantastic!

Pros:

This software is so user friendly! It is complementary to the user.

Cons:

Having to learn another program. ECP has the best customer service! Support team always in place. If you have an issue, they are readily available to assist. They follow up to see if issues have resolved and to offer any additional support.

User friendly and customizable.

Comments: We use ECP for our EHR, our EMAR and most of our clinical applications across our 11 large Assisted Living/Memory Care communities. They are so good to work with and their customer support is extraordinary. I email about once a month over something or other which is usually an upgrade in the software.

Pros:

I like that I can customize assessments for the team. ECP offers assessments for most states that are state required (like in Utah) for Assisted Living. Most of the team can teach themselves the software really easily. It is very user friendly.

Cons:

Every software has it's limitations and there are a few things that are a little wonky with ECP. I wish there was a way in the assessment that you could say if you select yes to an option, it opens up more of an assessment but if you say no it doesn't show up. Its a small thing. I anticipate this is an option ECP would develop someday. However, ECP is so good to work with that if this was something that was absolutely needed, they would make it happen.

Comments: Workers are doing a better job of charting and there are fewer med errors than with paper.

Pros:

It is super easy to learn, you don't have to go through a pile of pages to get to a client, very easy to enter info and print needed info for appts!

Cons:

The app is not as user friendly as the PC program.

User Friendly

Comments: My experience with ECP has been great so far

Pros:

ECP is very user friendly. I’m not the strongest with learning a new system. ECP has been by far the easiest system to navigate. The help desk has been great. [sensitive content hidden] has been amazing.

Cons:

The previous system that we were using the med pass was easier to navigate. For instance once you provided medication for a resident the face on the Home Screen went away or the face was greyed out on the screen.

ECP for Resident Care in AL CBRF

Comments: I love using ECP, I have used a few documentation system over the years geared toward AL/CBRF and this is by far my favorite to use. Also there tech support is beyond great and helpful!

Pros:

I love the customization as a administrative you can implement. Also its easy for care staff to use and especially people who are not "tech savy".

Cons:

Some items are not logically labeled unless you know where to look for them.

Comments: Amazing! I use it 80% of my 8 hour shifts for quit literally everything. If ECP were to go down i’m not sure what we all would do. Its a lifeline for our care.

Pros:

Very easy to use. User friendly for everyone.

Cons:

Every once in a while it will log me out but that could just be a internet in general problem.
