"TERRIBLE!! A SCAM. UNPROFESSIONAL."

Comments: This company should be ashamed of how they communicate to their customers that are actually willing to pay for this bad product. Despite the billing errors, I would have continued using the product since I invented the time to actually make it worth something. Legal actions are being pursued since they are unwilling to respond.

Pros: The dashboards and graphs is what caught my attention about this project although you can earliest create this in Excel. I should have done this in the beginning.

Cons: You can't modify any of the reports, graphs or dashboards. You loose the original format of your project plan once you export and reimport. Their customer service is terrible.

"Questionable billing practices"

Comments: Customer service or value of loyalty not a priority with this company - only billing and getting paid is priority.

Pros: Easy to get going quickly, easy to edit and modify. Security model is simple but effective. Easy to add users.

Cons: Dashboard objects - are pretty to look at however much work to produce - beware. Billing practices - you are billed by user type so when you setup users watch the type of user. If you over pay they will only credit you a very minimal amount for 3 month time frame. Read the small print.

"Good for light Project Management"

Pros: You can create fairly detailed project plans, including budgets and dates.

Cons: The reporting filtration is terrible. They're definitely lacking on the ability to extract exact information from PM.com

"Still testing it... there's good things and bad things though."

Comments: Being able to create reports with % complete.

Pros: The reporting features.
Being able to show Planned Start/Finish Dates, as well as Actual Start-Finish dates. (I would like to be able to "lock" the planned start-finish dates though, so team members can't adjust their own task planned dates)

Cons: The lag from low internet in when projects have a lot of tasks.
Only one person can update (in the project sheet) at a time.
The updating feature from "My Work" just lists the task as completed with the planned dates instead of actual date being updated.
The notification system not giving me an option to be notified whenever ANYTHING changes - I want to know right away when a task is completed by team members if I'm not assigned to the task.

"President"

Comments: I did a complete office remodel. I moving the office into a construction trailer and did a complete demo replacing almost every wall. Worked the program and stayed on track with a nine week completion from start to finish. Could not have keep track of my business and this project without this program.

Pros: Easy to use , easy to update and make changes.

Cons: Need a higher level version than I purchased to get more features that could be more helpful.

"Avoid updates on mails"

Comments: some updates getting update late to others.

Pros: this software updates all info via mail. but its should update like desktop app. initially its ok. but daily getting more mails, quite issue. because need to read lot of mails. other than its fine for update on dashboard page. creating project and status.

Cons: Avoid mail updates. create like desktop and mobile app for updates.

"Good start, needs some tweaks"

Pros: Similarity to other scheduling software.

Cons: There doesn't seem to be any simple way to track and update partially complete tasks that updates the planned hours. Example - someone that is working on a task is scheduled for 10 hours, but the overall task duration will cover two weeks. If they complete their work on in part early on day one, say 8 hours of it, you can update the percent complete to 80% but the distribution of workload for the remainder of the schedule doesn't reduce the hours left in the task. This distorts the actual workload for that person until the project is complete showing more work than is actually left. The reverse is also true where they may not start on a project until late in the duration. Frustrating for very large projects with multiple tasks and assignments. Very time consuming to update.

"Projectmanager is more expensive than most, double check the pricing."

Comments: Projectmanager is more expensive and has fewer features than many of the programs we tried, it is four times more expensive than our current software and was missing some features that we now get on our current program.

Pros: Good data entry, good and clear reports, timesheets were easy to fill and adding new projects or importing was very fast and easy

Cons: Cost for us was the main con, with most of these products on the market having a similar cost, projectmanager was about four times more expensive but it is not clear for the pricing page that this is the case.

"A Team online project manager of both computer software and mobile app"

Pros: * best thing about it is that you can update your project anytime and anywhere since its also available using android app
* you're able to share online reports with your team

Cons: * generation of reports sometimes slow but with very minimal cases only
* over-all, it' very effective

"Good project management tool for a small team !!!"

Comments: Overall, good for small teams but needs improvement.

Pros: It is a very good Online/SaaS solution for project management. I have been using MS project and this has all the features of it. It also allows to import data of MS office. The reporting tools also help to project the future. It is also easy to set up, user friendly and good for small teams and start ups.

Cons: It is hard to use when you have large teams therefore, not good for large companies and teams. Some glitches occur when trying to attche and import documents. Needs updates and improvements.

"WARNING"

Pros: Nothing. It looks good and you feel like you have found a good software, but beware. They are just manipulating you to take your money!

Cons: WARNING Do not interact with this company in any way. They will scam you as soon as they can. They lure you into a free trial of 30 days. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to implement a new project management tool for any business within 30 days. They are nice when you ask them to prolong the trial and you get the impression that you can in your own pace try the software and adapt it to your own business, which is what you want of course. They seems serious, their software seems really good, But it is all fake. All of a sudden you find out that there of course are som "hidden terms" which gives them the right to charge you for a whole year. They charged me for 500 dollars(!!!), and when I found out about this, this nice guys [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN] who really was helpful in the beginning suddenly vanished (?). He is no longer answering any mails and there is no way to get in contact with him. You can still contact their customer service, who is not doing anything else than refer to the terms, of course. THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. It is a scam and I sincerely warn everyone out there not to fall for their nonsens!

"Great features and functionality."

Comments: Automated organization and task delegation for complex projects with many individual tasks.
Visibility of project progress and issues for all levels of company.

Pros: Automatic Assignment of tasks and alerts and due dates helps immensely in keeping complex tasks organized and on-schedule.

Cons: Written helps are not very helpful - they describe the features but not how to use them. Tutorials that I have seen are mostly about general PM concepts- not how the software specifically helps. Tutorials that show how to use each specific part of PM.com would be great.

"The best MS project alternative"

Pros: If your used to MS project than this is the best alternative, it has similar features plus great team collaboration and best of all can be accessed anywhere and for a great price. I tested 12 of the best project software out there and few came close to rival this one, the implementation of critical path was key for us and a Gantt chart. All the other software companies seemed to base their software around a list or a poorly executed Gantt chart which looked like a tweaked excel document The vendor was great, showed us everything we wanted to see and all the great features. Response to emails is quick

Cons: The fact that you had to enter credit card details for the free trial almost stopped me getting this software, if they hadn't have called I would have never tried it. All other vendors give you a free trial without CC details but I now I regret not trying it sooner.

"Little confusing"

Comments: Overall is a good product that need improvements, I wouldn't personally choose to use it

Can add time to task from different places
Track different projects

Cons: Sometimes it does not update the time added to a task
Some tasks get randomly deleted
Tabs are consufing

"Effective Project Manager"

Pros: Using this tool was so great. Having so many features is very helpful to my project anytime. Very effective to a group project.

Cons: So far, I have no cons about this product because it helps me a lot to make my tasks or project be effective.

"Lean project planning and reporting tool"

Comments: A great tool for lean or just enough planning and reporting of small to medium to large projects. Easy for project teams to onboard with minimal change management issues.

Pros: Simple and easy to use

Cons: Reporting module is not robust.

"Field Engineer"

Comments: This app really keeps my projects tuned. Everyone can see the progress, risks, etc.

Pros: The ability to keep all parties informed and up to date. Use it for upcoming and current project status.

Cons: TBD. Still working through all it's features. Will know more as I work through it. So far, it has been an asset.

"Real-time Project status identifier"

Pros: The great thing with using ProjectManager.com is the real time dashboard that can be access with all members of the team project through online

Cons: As far as i use this product, only the internet connection affects it's functionality of sharing reports and status with the team, but as long as you have a good internet connection, it was really great

"Great tool for managing timelines and studio schedules"

Comments: Detailed project planning and studio capacity management

Pros: You can manage a project timeline, allocate people to tasks and this builds up a studio schedule which you can use to check if people's time are well utilised. The reporting tool also makes it possible to forecast into the future to see what capacity the studio is running at. It is great that it is cloud based. You can set the working days of a person and the number of hours each person works, which helps accurately plan capacity. Linking of tasks is also a helpful feature to easily update project timings.

Cons: There are a couple of features I'd like to see incorporated, such as a different colour in the workload view for potential projects, and on the calendar RSS feed the project name needs to be included as well as the task name, otherwise all your tasks can come across with the same name (i.e. design, design, design,). I would also like to see the styling improved when you save a project plans to PDF - as they are currently very difficult to read in this format and it makes it hard to share them with clients.

"We use this software daily and find it easy to use but still room for improvements"

Comments: There are issues with linking tasks. We have been working with customer service on this issue for years and can't get resolution. The linked tasks will update if you extend the schedule but will not always update when you shorten the schedule. This is a major issue that needs to be fixed. When we have schedules with more than 100 tasks it takes hours to fix the schedule!

Pros: Easy to use and accessible anywhere on-line. Can share a lot of detailed project information to others quickly.

Cons: Saved changes are slow to update. File size limits when uploading documents. Printing is cumbersome to format.

"Good for light project management and time tracking for a small team"

Comments: We liked it better than a very simple time keeping app that we were using. It does allow for more detailed project management. you can't expect it to do all of what MS Project does - it is not at that level. But it helps for teams and for predictable project management and time keeping.

Pros: I like the ability to create a fairly detailed project plan including budget and dates that are nicely mapped out in a Gantt chart. It works great for straightforward projects with a succinct task list and allows for the team to track their time to see a report on the budget for the project and the financial aspect of completing the project. I like the updated interface as well - it took a little bit to get used to, but didn't take too long.

Cons: I find the reporting to be a bit challenging. I would like to see reports that are a bit more flexible and can filter in and out certain criteria. This product isn't great to manage really long projects or challenging projects with lots of iterations. If you have a project that is iterative in nature and will develop as you move along, this set up makes it time-consuming to maintain.

"PMO Director"

Pros: ProjectManager.com or PM.com as we call it is very easy to use, we were able to get up and running in a very short amount of time. We have approximately 300 projects that we are managing and about 70 resources. Before PM.com we managed our projects in one system our resources in another system and our reporting from yet another system. We have been able to consolidate systems and are able to more efficiently track our projects, backlog, risks and issues. The Workload board showing the resources availability allows us to see who is available at a glance. PM.com is opened on my computer every day all day, I could NOT do my job without it. The support team and the product team are great to work with, they have a place to put in suggestions for new features and I am happy to say they have added several of my suggestions. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new system to handle their Portfolio and Project Management offices.

Cons: There are a few features that do not work as well as I would like but I am hoping they will be updated in the near future. One area is the linking of tasks and easily being able to see the effects on the plan. MS Project does a great job of highlighting the changes. Some of the reports could use some additional filters but they have been adding to that. Overall the Pros far outweigh any of the Cons.
