Great, easy to use software for consulting invoicing

5.0 last year

Comments: TimeSolv was the answer for our consulting business. Easy to capture billable hours and expenses and easy to invoice customers.

Pros:

The invoicing features are very easy to use. What used to take me hours to prepare / process invoices, now takes me about a 1/4 of the time. The features for recording billable hours and expenses is very easy to use.

Cons:

If the product was a little easier to integrate with other systems, that would be nice.

Superior to TimeSlips

5.0 2 years ago

Pros:

I was a loyal TimeSlips user for 20 years, and before that I used TABS. Four years ago, I needed a cloud based billing application with features not offered by TimeSlips. I also wanted an application that had a friendly user interface, could generate reports that I was accustomed to using, would not charge me annual maintenance fees, and could import my historical TimeSlips data. TimeSolv was the answer! I love it.

Cons:

The reports are not exactly the same as the ones I had been used to over 20 years with TimeSlips, but close enough. The TimeSolv reports look better.

Incredibly User-Friendly

5.0 last year

Comments: TimeSolv has been a life saver for our firm! It is faster, easier, more customizable, and less expensive than Tabs3 that we were using--plus the customer service is unheard of in our day and age.

Pros:

I love that I can easily navigate the program. I figured how to do all the basic functions I needed within about 10 minutes on my own, without help. If you can do a Google search or use Facebook, you can use this program!

Cons:

TimeSolv's conversion team was phenomenal. The difficulty was getting our data converted from Tabs3 because of how we did it (we didn't transfer all data, only some of the attorneys' data). This meant we did have to do some manual data entry to complete the conversion. It would have been great not to have to do that. But it was such a small thing in comparison to all the benefits of TimeSolv. And it was only a one-time thing.

Don't waste your time!

1.0 last year

Comments: This company is not competent enough to handle our business. They want a bunch personal information from you but when pinned down on why, they have no idea. Just a bunch of drones checking off on a box. When you ask them for a copy of their data protection privacy policies, they clearly have no idea what that is or refuse to provide it. Most likely they are selling your private information to the lowest bidder. When you confront them about, very hostile. I am so glad we caught on to this nightmare before we really started working with them.

Pros:

I don't! Please don't waste your time. Very unlikely you will get past the setup process.

Cons:

The company's support and ability to completely waste our time.

Very user friendly time keeping and billing software

5.0 last year

Comments: Overall, excellent. We love TimeSolv as a firm.

Pros:

Very user friendly. Easy to use. Intuitive. Helpful customer service.

Cons:

There are certain things that could be added that would make it better/easier to use. For example, I'd like to be able to select multiple time entries and delete or manipulate them at one time. I would also like to be able to edit time entries without losing the original number of hours billed.

TimeSolve 1st Rating

4.0 last year

Comments: Good - TimeSolv gives me the basics of what I needed for client time tracking and staff time tracking simultaneously

Pros:

The ability to track staff time for clients at the same time as staff worked hours

Cons:

The Payroll hours for my staff is a lot of work to get when they started and when they ended so I can pay them - Invoice creation has too many steps

Fullfills my Needs

4.0 last year

Comments: I have only been using the program for 3 months of billing. I expect that over time I will tweak it to work better for me.

Pros:

It had more options of similar programs for customizing the bill formate.

Cons:

It has lots of options. I have not explored all of them. I expect to in the future and tweak the program to work better for me. On the con side, so may options make it difficult to set up in the first instance.

TimeSolv = Greatness

5.0 last year

Comments: Overall, great experience, but that experience has only been great because of the customer support/service I received from specialists such as [sensitive content hidden]. They make TimeSolv a great option for legal billing, because they go above and beyond to help you.

Pros:

Ease of learning the system Zoom meetings with specialists to help OUTSTANDING customer service by specialists mentioned above Easy to send invoices Easy to split invoices

Cons:

The general link to schedule an online meeting with a specialist was one of my favorite features, and it has recently been removed from the site. Now, it's not as easy to schedule meetings when you need assistance.

Great, easy-to-use billing software

5.0 last year

Pros:

It's easy to boot up, easy to use, easy to call up client matters for billing, has a lot of features that come in handy.

Cons:

It's a little difficult to figure out what you've already billed on a particular matter, as it seems you have to actually create an invoice to see that info and then delete the invoice once you've reviewed what you want to review.

Great product and hard to beat price to boot!

5.0 last year

Comments: I have had very little problems navigating the program. When I have a question I can email my account representative who quickly responds with the answer. Customer service is important.

Pros:

I found the software fairly intuitive and fairly easy to navigate thru on a daily basis. Liked to set up much better that several other competing products that I had presentations for. The price is a perk as well.

Cons:

Thus far I have not found anything that I would target as a con.

I found TimeSolv easy to use in starting my own practice

5.0 last year

Comments: Very good.

Pros:

I was leaving a large firm and opening my own practice. I found it easy to use and learning it was simple.

Cons:

I would prefer if it could sync both ways with Xero. If I enter an expense in Xero it does not carry over to TimeSolv. I would like to just have one place to enter expenses I need to bill for.

Great Choice!

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: I spend so much less time a day handling accounting issues. It's just so simple!

Pros:

The ease of use in entering time, expenses and billing. Also the flexibility in invoice formatting. I love the recent update that allowed the entering and allocating payments at the same time which eliminated an extra step.

Cons:

The integration with Quickbooks was not useful to us as we're a small law firm and it just brought too much info over. Although, we don't use the integration, it really hasn't affected the ease of use of Quickbooks.

Great product

5.0 last year

Pros:

TimeSolv is very user friendly and the reports it can produce are very helpful

Cons:

When I run a draft bill and then realize the client's address isn't on the draft, I go back in and add it but it doesn't show up on the draft. So sometimes it's a pain to have to void out the draft and run a new draft just to see the change.

Very functional and effective time keeping.

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: Excellent overall.

Pros:

The software is powerful and yet easy to use at the same time. It can also be easily configured to meet individual needs.

Cons:

Calendaring features need work. The ability to manage a group calendar and sync with Outlook would be helpful. Printing features would also be helpful.

Must Buy Time Tracking Software

5.0 2 years ago

Comments: See above. Ease of use combined with excellent support.

Pros:

Before buying this software I tried three different programs. This was by far the most user friendly. An extra bonus is that the support is beyond excellent. Prompt communication, knowledgeable techs, and most of all patience.

Cons:

There are no cons as far as I'm concerned.
