I've chosen to go on walks outside on days where I might have chosen other activities, which is kind of a pro because Vitamin D, but also I'm not swimming as much as I used to which makes me sad. I love the competitive aspect, watching my coworkers and where they are in their step count. I enjoy the rain sounds and the daily checkins - I wish there was a way to monitor my moods over time (or maybe there is and I just haven't found it yet). > > **Cons**: I really really really really wish that there was a way I could check in more than three times a week. The only checkins that are valued daily are steps, and that's... kinda lame. I do yoga every day after work, I swim two or three times a week, and I play music almost every day. I'm only able to count three of those sessions a day. A few weeks back I played the fiddle at the Ren Faire - SIX HOURS STRAIGHT OF PLAYING FOR TWO DAYS IN A ROW\! I was exhausted and exhilarated and SUPER SORE, and I was only able to count one of those sessions for only a half hour because I had already checked in twice during the week. It's almost de-motivational for me to use the app because as much as I love being competitive and want to get points, only a few of my exercise experiences a week are counted - making it like hitting a wall for points unless I take up running, which won't happpen lol. This means I don't even check in to all of my exercises during the week because in my head 'it doesn't matter, i'll check in later' and then never do. > > I love GoVida because it makes me think about my exercise habits every day - I think of it kind of like a habit tracker.
