Great software and Support!

Comments: My experience from sale to implementation has been very good. The support team is as good as many have eluded to and both the sales and customer success teams have been very responsive and helpful. The product is heavily used in our Org and plays a critical role in communication to clients. Being able to use the product to quickly get out communication internally and externally has been a huge benefit for us. I am definitely an advocate of AlertMedia!

Pros:

• Intuitive UI • Easy to implement • Great customer service! • Fast sending of notifications • Great feature set • Multi-purpose use cases

Cons:

Aside from a few minor bugs and a few enhancement requests, I haven't had any significant negative experiences.

Alert Media Raving Fan

Comments: Extremely smooth and professional. Great team, great follow-up, great project and planning steps for the rollout. Couldn't be happier. My stakeholders are thrilled.

Pros:

The platform is simple and easy and includes a consolidated approach that our current solution did not have for Crisis Communication and Travel Risk Management. User and travel integrations replaced manual processes.

Cons:

AlertMedia did a great job bringing an affordable solution to the table. Because of that I had to ask for SSO to be added. It's great that SSO cannot be selected or itemized/offered, but I just expected that to be there; didn't know to ask for it.

Comments: So far, it's average. I have used other companies and found a much more detailed scope when it comes to information.

Pros:

The ability to send messages and notify others of situations.

Cons:

Lack of information/intelligence. I requested information on a specific town I was traveling to in Mexico and received the whole country's information. I found that already so that didn't help me.

Comments: Customer service has been unmatched by any of our past platforms. They are always there to help and guide you through the process.

Pros:

What I like most about AlertMedia is the ease of sending alerts through both the desktop and phone app. When seconds count, you don't have time to fool around with an awkward app.

Cons:

AlertMedia does everything we need. We have not found any problems with the platform yet.

An Important Partner

Pros:

Alert Media has been an important partner for us as we manage myriad critical situations in our workplace -- everything from power outages to healthcare clinics for our residents. I particularly like the fact that the mobile app is identical to the desktop app.

Cons:

Alert Media can be expensive and you need to ensure that you don't exceed your limits for texts or voicemail minutes. The overage charges came as a surprise to me -- no one ever provided advanced notice that we were exceeding our limits until it was too late!

Comments: Overall, AlertMedia is a great product. We don't need to send notifications all the time, but being able to stay updated on anything happening near our offices or employees area of residence brings us a sense of calm, knowing we can quickly alert them when needed.

Pros:

AlertMedia's website is easy to navigate. The real time notifications are great. Being able to communicate with our employees on multiple channels (text, email, voicemail, teams, app) is a major plus. The customer service is always responsive and is quick to resolve any issues.

Cons:

Sometimes you can get over-alerted, but with the addition of Threat Intelligence, we have been able to get that under control. There is also some limited functionality on the mobile app vs the website.

Pros:

Comments: AlertMedia has been a very effective crisis management communication tool for Panduit Corp

Pros:

The AlertMedia Tool is so easy to use. In crisis situations, timing is so very critical and the AlertMedia tool is structured in a manner that allows MASS push notifications in five easy steps.

Cons:

It would add even more value to the AlertMedia Tool if there can be a "chat" capability on the AlertMedia APP to allow select individuals to quickly chat back and forth.

Great Value for the Money

Comments: Our company was looking for a solution that was a good value, easy to use, a great mobile app and something that had templates. AlertMedia delivers on all these areas.

Pros:

The ability to communicate with our employees at the same time using text, phone and email options. The mobile app is easy to use and in case of emergency is critical to communicate with the whole company at the same time. The templates are easy to set up and would be essential if there is an emergency.

Cons:

AlertMedia does not have any futures I don't like.

Very Useful During Emergencies

Pros:

I like how easy it is to send notifications, especially during an emergency situation. Being able to save notification templates and saving preferred channel notifications has been a real time saver.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind. There are no features that I dislike.

Customized for User Needs

Comments: Have been great in working out customized solutions to our needs.

Pros:

Use Share Point forms to initiate sending of messages that are customized and have data metrics that provide great trends as to what types of incidents we have as where they are occurring by asset type.

Cons:

No issues with software but are at the mercy of cell phone providers on text messages which can be slow or delayed when received.

Easy to use, robust notification system

Comments: Our overall experience with AlertMedia has been positive. They are receptive to new ideas/suggestions and responsive to our needs.

Pros:

The software was easy to set up and integrate into our network. The ability to create dynamic groups minimizes the amount of maintenance that is necessary. There are a variety of permissions available within the software so responsibility for notification isn't limited to a small group.

Cons:

The software has limitations on what unique fields it can use when integrating information from our HR system. The primary field is email (which we know can change) so it would be nice if it could key off associate ID, etc.

AlertMedia is great tool!

Comments: The customer service reps are very fast on responding. Our Alert Media account manager is very helpful and a good resource for setting up new notifications.

Pros:

Very easy to create notifications and track employee response from both the app and website. Can have premade templates for multiple events, which allows for fast notifications to employees.

Cons:

The notifications are not always delivered through text if there is an issue with a cell phone provider. Admins of the Alert account are not aware of this issue from the dashboard, only through their users.

We recommend using Read Confirmation or Survey notifications to ensure message receiptthese notification types ask the recipient to confirm receipt and are the only way to be certain someone reads your message. Once AlertMedia delivers a message to a telecom carrier, we are reliant on the carrier to make the final delivery to the end-user and to report that delivery succeeded or failed. Not all telecom carriers provide accurate information with every delivery attempt. We hope this is helpful!

Comments: There are a lot of features we don't use, especially with the weather alerts. It's a little confusing sometimes with so many features. We mainly use it just as a communication source, not necessarily for the weather alerts.

Pros:

We've been using AlertMedia for almost a year now. We implemented it right as COVID was ramping up and it was a great way to get ahold of staff members quickly - which was very important when we were first implementing COVID policies and procedures. It was very easy to get started and it's very easy to use. Also, our account rep is great! She gets back to us very quickly and answers all my questions.

Cons:

I wish there were more design options in the email feature in particular, like ability move text and photos around, etc. I know it's not a design product, but would be a nice feature. I'm used to more design features when sending an email. Also, don't like the feature that if a contact is deleted (and then subsequently it's archived), I can't make a new contact with that same email address. To do so, I had to reach out to my account rep - would be helpful I could do that myself instead of having to reach out as an extra step.

Dependedable, Cost effective solution

Pros:

Super easy to use with multiple templates provided. Easy to deploy with app. Great marketing materials provided by AlertMedia to help with deployment.

Cons:

Software has everything that our organization could need. We ha e over 17 different locations and love the ability to create customized groups .

AMAZING Communication Tool

Comments: Incredible. Any questions I have they answer within hours. The product itself has boosted our communication with employees tremendously.

Pros:

We love the ability to be able to text all of our employees updates when necessary. During COVID, this has been a MUST for us. We also really enjoy the feature to schedule notifications.

Cons:

The ONLY thing I can even suggest is that the implementation team take on uploading the users for clients. For us, we have about 140 employees so creating a report from our payroll system and matching it up to the upload file format wasn't too difficult but it could be for larger companies.

Great targeted communication platform

Comments: Out of the box, this tool is used to for identifying and reacting to threats for office or remote employees. We use it slightly differently where we leverage the targeted capabilities to reach our customer base quickly and efficiently. As a Cyber Security organization, we often need to communicate details of Emerging Threats and on-going Security Incidents to keep our customers up to date. This tool offers great integration through the API toolkit and offers great reporting. The customer service is also very good.

Pros:

Unlike other tools in the communication space, this tool is designed to be very targeted with a high yield of delivery rates. The speed at which you can send a communication is great, and it allows our Incident Response functions to get a message out far quicker than previously.

Cons:

Although this tool is designed for threats for office and remote employees, it would be great to see it expand to natively support 'customers', and provide features such as click / open rate and e-mail previews to view what an e-mail sent to a customer actually looked like. Other than that, the tool works great.

Alert Media - Right Fit for Us

Comments: We've sent numerous emergency notifications for events from Hurricanes to gas leaks. We conduct quarterly call tree tests and an annual notification exercise for the company. Employees are becoming acclimated to AlertMedia the more we use it.

Pros:

Ease of use and functionality were the two things that stood out to me as far as what I liked most. The product is very easy to use. The customer service is excellent, from on-boarding to implementation to all the follow up conversations I've have had with my customer success manager Alert Media has been there to answer any and all questions. Cost effective in comparison to other products on the market.

Cons:

No problems so far. We have a request for a similar but slightly different product (ticker) and even though Alert Media doesn't currently have that product. They took my request to the development team and will let us know in the future if they are able to fulfill this request. Implementation was very smooth on our end.l

Pros:

We utilize the safe signal app for our remote workers. It is easy to use, reliable and consistent. We have had enhancements in the functionality that make it even better each and every time.

Cons:

I don't believe there is anything I do not like about the product.
