LambdaTest – A Powerful Cloud Infrastructure for Cross Browser Testing

Comments: The organization we operate in has a broader audience. We need to ensure that our website is responsive, independent of our client's browser or operating system. To keep ahead of our clients, we needed a solution to ensure that our changes would render seamlessly when delivered to the market. LambdaTest has proved to be the go-to tool for us in our journey. When it comes to the latest desktop and mobile browsers, testing local pages, mobile responsive testing, LambdaTest excels at providing us all the features that our organization needed. With automated cross browser testing, we were able to reduce our test execution cycles at a minimal cost and via its integration with CircleCI we were able to continuously test our website every time a deployment is done. Big thanks to LambdaTest for their affordable pricing plans and supportive communication staff.

Pros:

The Underpass app helps to configure local test environments instantly. LambdaTest integrates with a variety of codeless automation and CI/CD tools like LEAPWORK, TestingWhiz, CircleCI etc. Google lighthouse report in Automation is incredible to view performance metrics of the websites. Very pleased with how their support staff has helped us with the issues.

Cons:

As of now, the lighthouse feature in Automation is only available in macOS. Would be great if they could incorporate it in more operating systems soon.

Testing Experience with LambdaTest

Comments: Overall experience was really good the service and help support provided by them are really good and my testing for any product became a little more easy and had impact in testing with it

Pros:

LamdaTest is a really good platform for a new tester to start and get a boost in a career I liked the UI and the automation for test for websites and android app

Cons:

There is no such big dislike but I would it need a period of time to understand the UI once you are familiar than its a great but it need time get habit of it

Comments: I can test the application in any mobile device using it is a very good testing tool, but it has some flaws. For eg :- UI changes are not visible, very slow and ect..ectbut overall tool is very good but need to improve some quality's

Often devices outages, big delays in responsivity, app installation failures, short expiration time (when I need to study specification during testing - session often expires which drives me mad)

Good collection of browsers and it’s scalable!

Comments: Using LambdaTest automation we could run all our functionality tests suits across multiple browsers and OS. Helped us identify UI misalignment specific to browsers or functionality failure due to incompatibility with a particular browser. The good part is you can automate screenshots and get insights into where and which browser your website’s UI is going off. Then we can use the live feature to identify and debug the compatibility issue. We strongly believe customer experience is the key and that could impede your product growth. With lambdatest, we could see improvements in identifying errors before our customer does.

Pros:

Offers out-of-the-box geolocation testing in automation which is amazing! You can select browsers, os, country and start testing instantly. As said we perform multiple tests for browsers coverage, so we have scaled up our testing pipeline and are now running multiple tests in parallel. This scaling up was way too easy. No more adding VMs for testing locally.Further, offers integration with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Gitlab which makes our cycle easier.

Cons:

Mobile application testing would be helpful for us.We have been asking the support team for this feature but it's yet to be implemented. Would also like to see more devices for screenshot testing.

Lamdatest individual learning and organisational review

Comments: LambdaTest supports and provide simplest configuration to run cross-browser testing platform with a wide range of features designed to streamline the testing process. Also It offers a variety of browser and device combinations, seamless integration with popular tools. Real time dashboard for reporting is one true feature. One more feature which stands out Lamdatest ahead of any other cloud hosting platforms is hyperexecute feature is something i am really excited about using to speed up my test execution.

Pros:

wide range of browser and device combinations, easy integration with popular tools, and robust features for efficient testing. Simpler execution and User friendly interface to drive it smoothly.

Cons:

On a personal learning note i find limitations in the free plan, and the learning curve associated with mastering advanced features. Also while test execution very rarely i have observed UI lags or glitch in picking or launching new browsers.

Maximise Your Testing Efficiency By LambaTest

Comments: As per my overall experience with lambda test i would like to share that its highly eifficient platform to cross check your product with different browser along with their latest verison. As per my usage its really help me to build and test the product quality and due to this i am able to deviler a top notch product along with quality assurance to my clients.

Pros:

Like most about lamdatest is its provide cross browser testing device to perform automate and manual testing. Its also provide virtual device, so we can check our product compatibility with responsive testing at different devices

Cons:

As per my usage there is no cons for lamdatest, Becuase its helps me to test my product for different device at single platform

Nothing in particular but the limitation for free usage a month can be removed and you can reduce the time frame rather that the usage limit

At the moment I haven't seen any cons. I believe more people should use it.

Lambda Test works well with Circle CI

Comments: works well, a little expensive for what we need. We don't use a fraction of the features of options and so if we did that would help propel us forward

Pros:

Works well via the API, I can run parallel tests, manual debugging is simple and quick with a wide range of devices, browsers and versions

Cons:

licence modal is not great, limited to 10 users and 1 thread. going to 2 threads doubles the cost despite the fact we use it only on regression day

Comments: 1) Executing bigger regression scripts overnight2) Having a video evidence of the test execution which can be referenced in the future

Pros:

I use LambdaTest to run automated tests.1) It really helps to execute bigger scripts which take hours for execution on LambdaTest and work on another scripts parallelly.2) It's pretty easy to check the video execution of scripts for debugging

Cons:

1) LambdaTest hangs while going through existing videos.2) LambdaTest results split into multiple suites when test suite contains multiple tests. e.g. Jenkins Build ID: 115 has 100 tests which takes 12 hrs for completion. In this case LamdaTest displays 2 test suits with Jenkins Build ID: 115, and scripts are divided into these 2 suites.3) LamdaTest UI is little confusing to the new person. But its becomes very easy with time.

Best Cross Browser Testing Tool

Pros:

Lambdatest is the best tool because of its accuracy and easy to use and work very well, also they provide extra features like automation.

Cons:

I think its pricing little bit high compare to others, but giving extra tools as well

Best Testing Tool

Comments: LambdaTest helps us in our browser compatibility testing processes. We are using the tool to ensure compatibility on Mac OS and iPhone devices. The main plus point of the tool is it's integration feature. Asana integration helps us to log issues found on Lambdatest directly to our Asana boards.

Pros:

As a tester, i have to make sure that my website is upto shape. Especially since we are new in the market, our product is a bit unstable and that raises pressure on me for logging bug. Screenshots come in handy but i am not a fan of in-built snipping tool. LambdaTest Screenshots by providing a full-page screenshot made my life easy. Thank you Lambda Team!

Comments: The product is way better than anyone else

The Reports and automation runs very smooth even though we have 100 of test cases

The cost of the application is super expensive for the users like me who like to use but because of over pricing

A Top-Notch Solution for Quality Assurance and Customer Service

Comments: I handle hundreds of customers each week, and many of their issues are related to mobile devices, often due to their specific device. Since I can’t access every possible device they might use, LambdaTest saves me the time it would take to locate and set up the device, allowing me to quickly rule out the cause of the issue for my customers.

Pros:

Firstly, LambdaTest is user-friendly, with an intuitive interface that simplifies navigation. Secondly, it offers a vast array of devices and environments for testing. I’ve never encountered a test that required a device not supported by LambdaTest.

Cons:

Occasionally, there are performance issues that cause delays in loading. Since I work in a live environment and frequently interact with customers one-on-one, these delays can be challenging when customers expect immediate responses.

Comments: My experience with LambdaTest is amazing! I love absolutely everything about it!

Pros:

I love the fact that you can use online web browsers to do as you please.

Cons:

Some of the prices to do the things that you want on LambdaTest are just a bit expensive.

Does the Job!

Comments: We were able to very easily move our TestCafe automation from CrossBrowserTesting to LambdaTest which was a big benefit as we did not have to take a large amount of time to make the transition and keep us away from more important product work. So far, LambdaTest has been very reliable and has no required much babysitting which is very much appreciated.

Pros:

LambdaTest enables us to run automated test suites against all the browsers our users use in a reliable and fast manner.

Cons:

The manual testing option sometimes allows me to choose browsers and versions that do not actually work so I have to try and find one that does. This is especially true when working with older browsers.

Great for checking all browsers and screen sizes in real devices

It has a lot of browsers and real devices, is easy to use the tunnel

The dev tools are really slow and it gets tricky to click

A Complete Web Testing Suite

Comments: We have goals to reach zero-error and zero-bug for our high-end ticket clients and LambdaTest makes it possible automatically, with its tools, integrations and API available.

Pros:

We like the issue tracker of the system and the Trello / Github integration, it gives my coworkers the ability to help me fix issues and bugs. Sometimes we may need to initiate our project locally, especially the private ones and that's what we like with LabdaTest, it has binaries available for Windows and Android that can process the tests locally. The best features is that we can take sceenshots via API. It helps us test different device features and then view the results.

Cons:

It's not affordable for everyone. We use LambdaTest mostly for big high-budget projects where the client will not think money at all and will demand zero-error-margin. That's where testing is must-have!

Pros:

The features offered at the price point was really good. It makes it very easy to do my job. I really like the addition of the LT Browser app as that makes it even quicker to test things.

Cons:

The latest iOS versions aren't always available.

Comments: I liked it because it has helped me report and fix many existing UI issues and has helped in automation.

Pros:

The most important feature I like about Lambdatest is that it is very user-friendly due to its good UI, plus it provides all the latest devices to use even updating its browser versions. It even gives inspect type function to check the functionality in different devices which is useful for me.

Cons:

It doesn't provide types of laptop devices which is not good, it should provide as it provides various mobile devices rest of the functions are good.

Good tool for testing apps on real devices and for multibrowser testing
