About Google Workspace
Google Workspace is how teams of all sizes connect, create, and collaborate — to drive innovation from any device, and any location.
Customer support is good and in some plans you have priority support services. The collaboration is the most transparent possible, work agility is better than with other solutions.
It can be frustrating when there are features that are available in MS Suite that GSuite does not have. They are few and far in between, but once in a while it does frustrate you.

"Google Workspace: A Powerful tool with a learning curve"
Comments: My overall experience with Google Workspace has been positive. It’s a powerful, all-in-one suite that has significantly improved how I manage my business tasks and communications. The seamless integration between apps like Gmail, Google Drive, and Calendar allows for smooth collaboration and easy file sharing. I especially appreciate the real-time editing features, which make working with my team more efficient. However, the platform’s extensive range of tools can be a bit daunting at first, requiring some time to learn and adapt. Once I got past that learning curve, it became an invaluable part of my daily workflow.
Pros:
What I liked most about Google Workspace is the seamless integration between all its tools. The ability to collaborate in real-time on documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with my team is incredibly convenient. This real-time collaboration, along with easy file sharing in Google Drive, significantly streamlines my workflow and communication. Plus, having everything accessible from any device ensures I can work efficiently, whether I’m at the office or on the go.
Cons:
What I liked the least about Google Workspace is the initial learning curve. With so many features and tools, it can feel a bit overwhelming for new users. Navigating through all the options and figuring out how to make the most of each tool takes time and effort. It would be helpful if there were more intuitive guides or tutorials to make the onboarding process smoother.
Google Drive, a cloud-based storage solution, guarantees secure file storage and accessibility for team members
Comments: Google Workspace has significantly augmented our collaboration, while also improving the efficiency and security of our research procedures. It is an essential resource for any research-focused organization seeking to maintain organization and connectivity.
Pros:
I highly like the smooth integration of Google Workspace across multiple programs, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. This facilitates real-time collaboration among our staff, enabling effortless sharing, editing, and commenting on documents, so markedly improving productivity. The capacity to access and manipulate files from any device, be it a laptop, tablet, or smartphone, has proven especially advantageous for remote work and field research.
Cons:
The offline capability, while accessible, is not consistently reliable or seamless as one might anticipate. These constraints, although not critical, do induce occasional inefficiencies in our collaborative research endeavors.

Google Workspace Review
Comments: Google Workspace's experience is superior to many other products in the same field.
Pros:
Google Workspace provides an ease of use for our environment.
Cons:
Google Workspace should invest more in the MDM side of technology. Their opponents (Intune) have a wonderful product and should invest time and resources into that type of technology.
Enhancing Digital Learning and Faculty-Student Collaboration
Comments: Google Classroom improved our university's online learning setup by making collaboration between students and teachers easier. Its integration with other Google tools helped us create more interactive and engaging course materials. The automated assignment and grading features saved professors a lot of time, letting them focus more on individual student engagement.
Pros:
Google Classroom's easy-to-use interface has greatly cut down the time I spend on admin tasks like handing out assignments and keeping track of submissions, giving me more time to focus on teaching and mentoring students. The mobile access has also been a big help, allowing students to join discussions and submit their work from anywhere, which has been especially useful for our non-traditional and commuter students.
Cons:
Google Classroom is great for typical courses, but it may not be as flexible for unconventional teaching methods or specialized subjects that need specific tools or software not easily integrated with Google. Optimal Work Productivity with Google's Topnotch Workspace
Comments: Google Workspace streamlined applications use and had the most important work applications in the platform. A few years back, even cloud storages demanded a different provider, now, Google Workspace has everything a team needs to boost its productivity.
Pros:
Google Workspace allows premium use of Google applications with tools that help optimize work and productivity. The interconnectivity of the applications is very convenient for work and its synchronicity with available mobile versions maximizes work productivity even at the tip of our fingertips.
Cons:
GMeet and GChat may have been integrated instead of two separate applications since both can be available with one messaging app.
Get work done with workspace
Comments: Overall my experience with Google Workspace has been great. The services and features are in line iwth what I need to complete projects.
Pros:
I use google workspace every day for emails, creating documents and spreadsheets. It is the best and most user friendly platform I have used for these types of projects.
Cons:
The features are starting to fall behind and it hasn't modernized its look.
I Use Google Workspace Daily
Comments: I love Google Workspace and am glad the free features are available.
Pros:
I use the free tools in Google Workspace multiple times daily. I rely on the tools to run my business efficiently.
Cons:
I wish the paid features had a price that could be paid monthly instead of requiring a 1-year commitment.

Comments: Very positive, it is easy and good to use. The tiers and offerings are competitive and nice to have
Pros:
It's easy to setup, use, manage, and implement, and the cost offerings are fantastic for businesses
Cons:
It is sometimes lacking in features compared to other workspace options, Like Office 365

Easy to use
Comments: I've had a very positive experience with G Suite and would recommend it to anyone for personal use, and also for business use - especially if you work with remote teams or need to share & control documents. Whilst it doesn't quite have all the bells and whistles you get with MS office products, for 99% of the tasks I've needed to do I've found it to work perfectly well.
Pros:
Having come from years of using Microsoft office products (excel, word, outlook etc.) I was initially concerned about switching to G-Suite for obvious reasons. The great thing about G-suite however is that it is so easy to pick ups and use as so much of the functionality & menus's are the same as what you are probably used to from MS products. By far the best thing about G-Suite is the ease at which you can collaborate with others and manage your files without the usual uncontrolled copies of documents floating around. It's easy to share documents with others and control access. The fact that this is cloud based is also a massive bonus to me. I can access my files from anywhere, on any device. For example I've used Google forms to capture data directly from customers at a trade show using a tablet, that can then be shared & analysed more or less instantly with other applications. Oh and it's also free!
Cons:
The only real issue I have is if you try and work offline - it can be a bit temperamental. Likewise if your internet connection is a bit ropey it can be a pain, but for the most part this hasn't been an issue for me.
All in one solution
Comments: Fantastic! We took 2 different cloud servers and merged them into just G Suite. We have cloud based backups, it is very user friendly (even for the less tech-savvy volunteers!), and the setup was super easy. Honestly we dragged our feet with the setup and file transfer because we expected it to be more complicated than it was! I wish we had done this a few years ago!
Pros:
Having G Suite allowed us to condense several different file organization/data base software programs into one (G Suite). This allows our non-profit animal rescue to store animal records (owner surrender forms, shelter paperwork, vet invoices, behavior evaluations) in an organized fashion. We also use G Suite for our forms (adoption, owner surrender, etc.) for information coming in. It is very easy to organize and/or search for information. All of our volunteers can have access to what we need without navigating complicated software or programs.
Cons:
Some of the add-ons to particular features within G Suite can become discontinued and no longer supported which means we need to find new and similar add-ons to meet our needs. I do appreciate that these discontinuations are done with the purpose of maintaining client privacy and ensuring that add-ons are reputable. Some people get frustrated when they do not take the time to organize their Drive and thus they have difficulties finding documents. Organizing documents on Drive is not as intuitive for many people as it is on the actual computer drive (I'm not sure why!).
Indispensable tool set, especially in an increasingly remote/virtual workforce
Comments: We do everything in Workspace. Other than our ATS, all of our day to day communication and documentation activities are performed on Workspace, we have all but gotten rid of Microsoft and Zoom
Pros:
Each app is seamlessly integrated into all the other apps. Communicating with my team, collaborating on deliverables and documents, calendar management, video meetings and email literally all in one place. Workspace has significantly sped up work flow, I never realized how much time it took to do the little things like attach documents, create and send video meeting invites, and waiting on my teammates to respond to emails or other chat systems. Having everything housed in Google means every tool you need can be accessed in the same tab, making it almost impossible to not see a new email or chat to come through. These things might sound silly, our production has sped up so significantly since switching from several different software and applications to Google Workspace.
Cons:
There aren't a lot of cons really, but if I have to pick something, I'd say it is a little confusing starting out when people refer to Hangouts vs. Meet vs. Chat vs. Duo and things like that just because all of them pretty much share different combinations of the same messaging, video chat and/or voice calling functions. Google is consolidating all these services into fewer apps (which are included in Workspace), and apps that will eventually be unsupported (like Hangouts) are still functional and being slowly fazed out, so this isn't even really much of a con.
Best collaboration and productivity suite for small or medium scaled organizations.
Comments: Google workspace is one of my favorite productivity software suite. It's extremely intuitive and easy to work with. Moreover, it's excellent product for collaborating with team members on real time basis or sharing the files across organization.
Pros:
My organization uses Google workspace as a primary software for internal emails, collaboration, document creation and meetings. I love working on Google workspace due to these reasons: 1. Google workspace works seamlessly when it comes to real time collaboration with your team/organization. Anyone who has the right access, can make real time changes to the document 2. As an owner of document, you have full access controls that allows you to share files with specific people with specific access (view/edit/download etc). 3. It provides tons of 3rd party integration like with Jira, confluence, slack, Zoom, workday etc. This makes me super productive as I don't have to spend time on exporting and importing of data between different systems. 4. All google workspace products are extremely intuitive and very well designed even for those people who are not very technically savvy.
Cons:
For online version, its hand-down the best solution. But as a Desktop solution, it lacks a lot of features. Google workspace is very basic when it comes to what you can do in their Desktop apps. Also, when it comes to 'heavy data/number crunching', I have found MS Excel to be much better in performance as compared to Google Sheets.
A Tool for Effective Collaboration Platform
Comments: Overall, using this service to store documents is helpful. Less so for anything more difficult because you'll have to handle everything on your own and won't be able to rely on the system to help you locate, store, and retrieve documents.
Pros:
The simplicity of collaboration, the features it offers, the untapped potential, the support for actual collaboration services, the freedom of movement and accessibility to services from any location at any time.
Cons:
Due to the large number of product variations, customers may be confused about the pricing and feel that they are not receiving value for their money. Additionally, the ability to upload and save files Less storage space is available for free. By raising the maximum number of files that can be saved during free trials, this quality must be added.
Alternatives Considered:
Good but some features should be improved
Comments: If I forget about the month of time I wasted to migrate from one Google Workspace account to a new one, overall it is quite good.Although the Google Drive section cold be improve. The navigation is not very user friendly. There are several interesting apps and GMail works well.
Pros:
The space to store the documents is good (depending on how much you pay of course) and it makes the files available and accessible from anywhere, which is a plus.I use it a lot to share files and documents and it is easy to create links and share folders.I like the fact that it is possible to use the GMail app for corporate emails, avoiding the need of using outlook or other email systems that do not work well.
Cons:
I started a new account with Google Workspace migrating from another account I already had in Google Workspace. It should have been the easiest thing in the world for Google to simply change my account name. All my files where already there, I just had to add the new corporate email and put the account in the name of my new company. It should have been easy and quick.Well, instead it was a nightmare. Not only Google cannot change the name in an account (or better said, they refuse to do it) but they also refused to transfer my files from one account to the next. I had to download ALL my files of years and move them to the new account. But even this is not easy. Google Workspace does not let you download all your files easily. If a folder is above a certain size (I believe above 2 GB), they break it down randomly in many different files that are then impossible for you to rearrange in the same folder. So, you have to download your files and folders almost one by one and then upload them to the new account. It took me one month of work, time that I did not have and I do no appreciate wasting in something completely useless. This is definitely something Google should work on because it is not acceptable at all.

It just workls
Comments: I've used Google Workspace for years, I don't really think too much about it, it just works
Pros:
Google Workspace is easy to setup, has all the features that any company (big or small) will need. It can be integrated with other software (Salesforce, Project Management). It's pretty easy to use and it's rarely / never offline
Cons:
It's not as slick as some applications, but the positive trade offs make it a win
It's So Easy To Use You Feel Bad For Using It
Comments: Almost every business I have worked with over the last ten years or so has been rooted in Google Suite products, from advertising to basic internal communication. Over the years I've become extremely familiar with Chrome, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, AdWords, AdSense, scripting automation, Maps, Earth, YouTube, Chromecast, Analytics, Waze, Calendar, Android, Keep, Slides... and I'm pretty sure there are more that ought to be on the list, but the point is there is a Google version of almost everything I need to do. I was an early adopter of Microsoft's original OLE (object linking and embedding) that allowed you to be able to manage your data in one place (the database) and have changes reflected everywhere the data was used - Word Docs, Excel spreadsheets, Project reports and so on. G-Suite is like Office on steroids mixed with a little free 'crack' to keep you coming back - because they keep adding new functionality and it almost never costs the user a dime... as long as you don't mind being the commodity.
Pros:
There's no getting around the fact that the single most compelling reason to use the Google suite of business apps is that they are free for the average user. Gmail itself is ubiquitous, so no matter what group you work with - room mothers, band members, co-workers, volunteers - anyone with internet access either has, or can easily create, a Gmail address and boom - you're all part of a system that is easy to control. Sharing documents with Google Drive is way better than clogging up someone's email sending them file attachments. You can even share files with people you don't know - got a downloadable product you want to sell and don't have the time or the money to set up a full-fledged store? Include a secure link in a shared Google Drive file in an email or on a web page or even in a receipt. It's so easy you feel like you cheated. Another reason for using the Google Suite of products is that no matter what aspect of the G-Suite you are digging into, there will be a LOT of info out on the internet about how to get the most out of it. YouTube, Adwords scripts, spreadsheet automation, data reporting, maps to your business location, photo management and sharing, translating documents, managing your money, operating a classroom, casting web content to your TV... the list is extensive, and so are the online resources - videos and articles by users abound.
Cons:
One drawback to using this software is that it's unequivocally connected to YOU. Google Maps knows where you are if you have it installed on a phone. Every single IP address used to access any part of the Google universe is logged. Google code is in everything, all over the place. It's a little big-brother-feeling. That's the trade-off. You get all their software for free, but you give up your anonymity.
Need lot of improvements.............
Comments: I have been extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with G-Suite support and the professionalism of the staff. I was advised to use G-Suite by my web designer who spoke very highly of the offerings provided by it. I was originally satisfied and impressed by G-Suite but the last 6 months have left me totally dissatisfied. Over the past six months, emails that my company send using G-Suite go into people’s spams folders. This has happened with longstanding contacts and new ones. Even after they list us as an approved sender (which we already were), the emails continue to go into spam. G-Suite supports claimed it was a DNS, DMARC issue. I had this changed as per instructions. When the issue persisted I contacted G-Suite support and they again claimed it was all DNS and DMARC. I pointed out that we had done that and they claimed it wasn’t correct. I spoke with another G-Suite support personnel and they claimed that it was done right. Two different answers about the same issue by G-Suite support. I pointed out that we are doing Google Adwords and have spent a considerable amount on it and people who respond to our ad with a Gmail email are not getting our response. I was then told that it was a Gmail issue and I would need to contact a Gmail support forum, I did and was told that no it is G-Suite issue.
Pros:
G Suite offers a wide variety of office and productivity-related solutions, all under one account and can have your domain as the end point URL.
Cons:
I have been incredibly disappointed and disillusioned with G-Suite support and the polished methodology of the staff. I was encouraged to utilize G-Suite by my website specialist who talked in all respects profoundly of the contributions given by it. I was initially fulfilled and awed by G-Suite yet the most recent a half year have left me completely disappointed. I discovered it somewhat hard to import my telephone contacts to the Gmail application utilizing programmed match up. I just physically enter them, which for my situation, is really valuable as I'm ready to alter immaterial contacts and pertinent contacts.
Brilliant all inclusive Business Solution
Comments:
Overall my experience with Gsuite has been such an adventure.
The structure allows for safety but there is so much within the suite that your imagination is honestly the only limit.
Because there are so many pieces that can be integrated, changed and work together, I do believe that Gsuite has brought out a different way of thinking for me that allows me to think about process, procedures and customer satisfaction and streamlining all in one.
I have had so much learning and playing and growing with the suite.
Pros:
I enjoy that this software has so many integrations and is flexible. I find that I have a good main structure to work with but that I can add, change or manipulate the softwares that are involved within the gsuite. I find that collaborating with my Team is a lot easier with hangouts. Our file storage system has become more streamlined with drive. We can each view eachothers calendars so there isn't any double bookings. My favourite tool within the Gsuite is Google Sheets. There isn't anything that I can't do with sheets. Together with App-Script I have managed to developed some mini functioning software for my teams as a way to keep daily tasks and data together, but also automate it enough to take away the admin aspects of their day. Gsuite has brilliant educational material. If I dont know how to do something or if I'm not sure I can integrate with another tool, searching is as simple as asking a question and BOOM! Answers given!
Cons:
I sometimes find that tools are all over the place. There isn't one 'Operating System' of sorts that puts them together. This is where something like Chrome OS comes in handy, however on my windows machine I rely on bookmarks, pinning and browser extensions to have my frequently used tools together. However, myself (and most people) are so used to this that it's an almost invisible challenge. It only becomes a little bit complicated when trying to look for ways to seamlessly use both tools together. This is where the right slide drawer in Gmail comes in handy. I just dont use my mailbox enough to frequently use that right slide drawer. If I could have that right slide drawer installed as an extension to my browser that would be all the more useful!

Free G Suite for Education is the MOST amazing deal ever
Comments: Honestly, it's been an incredible investment for our organization, and I really couldn't be happier. I feel like if I was paying, however, I would like the admin console to be a bit cleaner and easier to navigate - even cleaning up the confusing wording on the instructions would be an improvement.
Pros:
It's free when you are in the education sector and you can't beat that. I can't begin to tell you how much my department has saved in data storage costs alone. Totally worth it to get just that, but the host of other tools in G Suite are also amazing!
Cons:
It comes with a learning curve for sure. It can be a bit difficult to understand as an administrator, and although the customization options are AWESOME, they can be complex and require time to learn and understand what they do.
Would never use another service just for the company email alone.
Comments: GStuie, and Google in general, gives the answer to so many questions and provides so much for such a great price, it is ridiculous to conceive of using anything else.
Pros:
There are so many things that GSuite can do that it would be impossible to list all of the pros. I'm going to just focus on email for this review to try to simplify things. The greatest thing about GSuite for your company email is that if you have a parent company, with multiple smaller companies underneath it, you don't have to pay to have email service for every single domain! Each domain can be set up as a subdomain of the parent company and then every user can receive email at [email protected] in the same mailbox! Additionally, you can create a "group" like "support" and it will then work for the main domain and each subdomain in the same group section! You can have them all go into a group messaging system where any of your users can respond, or you can use routing to send them to a ticketing system! Easy Peasy! That's just one part of one product, out of MANY, Amazing!
Cons:
It almost always has the ability to perform the function that you need, the only problem is that sometimes finding that information can be a little difficult, specifically finding the correct wording to search for if you're not familiar with the lingo for a particular feature. Additionally, Google support can sometimes be a chore to contact, but once you do get a hold of them, I must say they are exceptional overall! Also, they don't allow API Keys for subdomains, so linking some services like email or maps with other programs to do automated stuff on your behalf for a specific subdomain can at times be challenging.
I like it, I guess? G-suite is microwaved leftovers; mostly good but very unevenly cooked.
Comments: It's the tapioca pudding of enterprise email and scheduling software. I'll buy it because it's on sale and I'll feed it to a friend if they're starving but nobody's walking away totally happy.
Pros:
My team can access ALL the bare minimum requirements, including: Sending emails! Storing files! Having a calendar with the aesthetic of a 60s soviet bloc housing complex! And even more! Yes literally everything that I ask G Suite to do, so long as its within its core competencies, it manages to not mess up.
Cons:
Except YouTube, which deleted our company page once. And then demonetized it when we replaced it (our commercials about wheelchair equipment were clearly very risque). And then of course there's the admin interface, which is just pants-on-head ridiculous. It takes so many clicks to get to the most minor of things, and then it won't be QUITE the minor thing that you wanted to click, and God forbid that minor thing was about modifying employee phone permissions for Android or something like that because then that thing is bricked. Google sometimes really awes me with how inconsistent they can be even with their flagship products. I've used G Suite for years now for my business and like I said above: You know what, it's competent. It does this basic little set of stuff really well, and it's really cheap to boot (subsidized of course by scraping our data, I assume). But please Google, step up a few things because three stars is only two stars up from Comcast and I don't want to feel like I have no alternative choice in yet another facet of my business infrastructure. At least if you keep acting bored with your own products then I can keep being bored with them too and not complain too much.
Google for Business is a great tool for managing my business needs, but it could be even better with enhanced task management features
Comments: Google for Business services have been an essential part of my workflow, especially with the customized email feature that allows me to maintain a professional image while managing communication efficiently. The platform's reliability and ease of use make it a go-to choice for business needs. However, I believe there’s room for Google to add more value for paying users by expanding features like task management. Integrating robust task management tools directly within the suite could streamline workflows even further, helping businesses stay organized and productive. Enhancements like these would make Google for Business an even more powerful tool for professionals seeking to maximize their productivity.
Pros:
As a user of Google for Business, I’ve found its tools to be incredibly valuable for managing my business needs. The customized email service, in particular, has been a game-changer, allowing me to maintain a professional image while seamlessly integrating with other Google services like Calendar, Drive, and Meet. The platform’s intuitive interface and strong security features make it easy to stay organized and connected, no matter where I am. The flexibility of accessing all these tools from any device adds a level of convenience that I truly appreciate.
Cons:
I do see some areas where Google for Business could improve. One of the main drawbacks is the lack of advanced features for paid users, especially when it comes to task management. While the basics are covered, I often find myself needing to rely on external apps to handle more complex task and project management needs. I believe that adding more robust task management tools would greatly enhance the platform, providing even more value to those of us who rely on Google for our business operations.
The best workspace on the market
Comments: It is worth it. Technical feedback I can give several. But I believe that what will help the most here is knowing that you have a client here with peace of mind. It works!
Pros:
There are many points in favor. The familiarity. The ease of configuration. The ease of operation. The benefits that the integration of so many crucial services in just one environment brings. The customer service. The fair values (although after the change in plans they made, if I'm not mistaken in 2018, they put features like full control of Android phones only on the most expensive plan, something we don't need. This also goes to a negative point , they could have a pricing format with greater simplicity of on-demand.) Anyway, I know that there are some other companies with similar packages, like Zoho. But stick with the state of the art. Choose Google and complete with ClickUp for example.
Cons:
They're not perfect, but oddly enough it's difficult to find cons. Something I mentioned in the positive points that is also negative: they put features like full control of Android phones only on the most expensive plan, something we don't need. Only the cell phone control. They could have a pricing format with greater simplicity of on-demand. And the onboarding process (which they don't actually have) but at least an initial guide to help in the general understanding of the tool. You need to be a very light user to have great difficulties. But in order to intelligently connect the dots of the entire implementation, initial knowledge is necessary so that we do not under-use the tool or have rework.
