About monday.com
monday.com is a cloud Work OS, where teams run their projects and everyday work, whether they are in the office, home or on-the-go.
I do like how its helps with organization and timelines...alot have to do list but this one integrates deadlines into the display in a way you can visually see it right away.
The layout is confusing and hard to follow the chain of events in each task.

Solid project management platform with intuitive interface, but high pricing and limited customizati
Comments: Recently, my team and I started using monday.com for project management in our company. Overall, we found the platform to be user-friendly and allowed us to effectively collaborate on the projects we were working on.What I liked most about monday.com was its intuitive and user-friendly interface, which made it easy to organize and assign tasks to team members. I also found it useful to be able to add different types of columns, such as dropdowns and checkboxes, to our boards to keep track of project details. However, I also found the pricing to be a bit high compared to other similar project management tools we had used in the past. Additionally, I found the customization capabilities to be limited in some aspects, making it difficult to tailor the platform to our specific needs in certain areas.Despite these aspects, we found monday.com to be a solid project management platform overall and helped us improve our efficiency in team collaboration and project completion
Pros:
The best thing about monday.com is its intuitive and user-friendly interface, which enables efficient team collaboration and effective project management.
Cons:
The worst thing about monday.com can be its pricing, which may be a bit high compared to other similar project management tools, and its limited customization capabilities to meet the specific needs of some users.

A must have for non-profits
Comments: My experience is excellent, the ability to assign tasks, track and monitor peoples work and see where bottle necks or delays are occurring is one of the best features I have found so far.
Pros:
This software is indispensable in this new world of remote and hybrid working. Monday.com has fully replaced our grant management system we have before and the functionalities make it much more user friendly, able to coordinate tasks and proposals so much more effectively. We have also set it up so it tracks the progress and deadlines of our grant-reporting requirements as well which was an area of particular weakness for my organisation before we switched over to this new platform.
Cons:
It took quite a number of weeks for our non-profit status to be approved so I could get the wider team added to the platform- however the fact that it is completely free means I can not moan too much!
Alternatives Considered: Hive
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: I needed a platform which had more functionalities and could be easily updated in real time by multiple team members who are working from home and even working from differentHive countries.
Switched From: Microsoft Excel
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Monday.com free non-profit option and easy/ simple interface allowed the team to switch over with minimum training.

The best product for your remote team!
Comments: Overall, monday.com is widely regarded as an effective project management platform that offers a range of features and tools to help manage tasks and projects. Its visual and intuitive interface, coupled with a variety of customizable templates, makes it a user-friendly option for program managers and their teams! One of the best tools I implemented for my team.
Pros:
I have had the opportunity to work with monday.com, an online project management platform, and I can say that there are several things that I appreciate about it.One of the things that I like most about monday.com is its visual and user-friendly interface. The platform provides a variety of customizable templates that can be tailored to fit the specific needs of any project, making it easy to organize and track progress.Another feature that I find beneficial is the flexibility of the platform. With monday.com, team members can collaborate on projects in real-time, and updates are automatically synced across all devices. This allows for efficient communication and collaboration, regardless of where team members are located.
Cons:
One of the aspects that I find challenging is the platform's pricing. While monday.com offers a free trial, the pricing for the platform can be quite high, especially for larger teams or organizations. This can be a concern for smaller businesses or teams with limited budgets.Another potential disadvantage is that the platform's customization options can be overwhelming. While the templates and tools provided by monday.com are flexible and can be customized to fit the needs of specific projects, there can be a learning curve associated with using these features effectively.
Alternatives Considered: Microsoft Planner
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Pricing was a very huge favor for choosing Monday.com and the ease was also a deciding factor.

Monday.com the app you didn't know you need!
Comments: I love it. I love the setting, how easily it can be used, you can customise colours and how you see things, meaning it can fit for different personalities and ways of working.
Pros:
It is straightforward to use. It can be customized to whatever you need it to be/look like.
Cons:
You can not download Gantt charts. to make it more effective, you have multiple people using it which can be a high learning curve as everyone has different ways of tracking their tasks.
Alternatives Considered: Asana
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: We liked the look of it more, and the not for profit price was better. Also more people had heard of it which helped with the buying from the team.

You can get the same features without having to pay
Comments: It needs a lot yo understand how to use every feature. What I need is something to help improve my workday not to make it more complicated
Pros:
It is a good task manager, over all you can keep yoir work organized
Cons:
Getting to know how to use each feature is exhausting and time consuming

Perfect for Team-Based Writing and Projects
Comments: Very good, I look forward to using it on the next writing team I'm on.
Pros:
It was so user-friendly when communicating with team members for projects such as writing curriculum. After a little bit of research, this is surprisingly powerful tool that makes the otherwise complicated process of editing so much clearer.
Cons:
Although I personally didn't have trouble with the number of options available on each screen in the dashboard, some others expressed confusion. After learning the system, these difficulties become less significant.

Great for nonprofit start ups
Comments: Monday has allowed us to cost effectively scale our services to meet the demand of our Warriors in need of mental health services.
Pros:
The flexibility to build a customized product that fits our needs. Monday allows us to create automations that help communicate and roster clients into services.
Cons:
The user interface can get a bit burdensome to make all the automations work.
Alternatives Considered: Airtable and Google Sheets
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: We needed automation to organize and communicate with our clients and vendors.

Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Monday.com has the flexibility we need to build out our systems while still being HIPPA compliment. This is a very rare combination but luckily, it is at a very attractive price point that allows us to scale our operations.

Projet Managment is a breeze!
Comments: Overall, excellent! I mean, I have used several PMS like Trello, Slack, Jira, Wrike and the likes - Monday.com is the fireworks and the linchpin in the industry. If you have critical projects to manage (which I'm talking about project managers) this one is indespinsable.
Pros:
Workflow Configuration. Here, you can configure your workflow to your hearts content - supported by hundreds of there available widgets. Automation. A killer feature of Monday.com I haven't used or found with some other PMS. It does a good job of nudging everyone of everyday tasks. Customizability. Fairly user friendly. Customized modules, visuals, workflows etc. You name it. Customer Support. Best customer support with high product knowledge.
Cons:
Price. This can be expensive for solo users. But, then again they have free provisions for single users with threshold in it obviously. Technical. This can be technically taxing at first. Can be complicated for first time user, which is understandable for a Project Management Software with wider and deeper span. Glitches. Some of the function tends to glitch sometimes. Such with you colorize text to emphasize it. Tends to go against the user.
Alternatives Considered: Jira, Trello and Wrike
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Monday.com got it all. This has been developed with end-user in mind. We've tried Jira - which is also the reason why we find Monday.com because Jira works almost opposite of Monday.com. Monday.com is a breeze to use.

Monday.com Review
Comments: I use it on a day to day basis mainly for project management and it works extremely well. The automation and integration aspects make it an easy to use system that the team enjoys working with.
Pros:
It is extremely easy to use and does all the project planning and management grunt work for you. It can also integrate with quite a few systems to automate processes like creating a ticket system for your IT that makes IT more engaging with the end user.
Cons:
The biggest draw back is how you get to allocate users. You have to add in increments of 5 which leads to paying for users that you don't use. There are also some nice features that can only be accesses with a PRO license which is a bit pricey.
Alternatives Considered: LiquidPlanner and Asana
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: We needed something easier to use
Switched From: ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: It was friendlier to the end user and easier to use

A fresh air for project management tools
Comments: A happy comeback for me. With an affordable pricing list, you can get the best essential features to run your business or organization, work in teams or go for a solo adventure. Monday makes easy the creation of flows, at least for me; this was a great addition and works great with the most used tools out there.
Pros:
I always believe one of the usual problems you can find in project management suites is their cloned user interface. They think we all need to stay classic to understand how to use one of these tools. Monday breaks that door and launches with a fresh and new type of user interface and experience. You can find the same classic tools, but all with a new look and a new way to create flows in the same app without using external apps (for important actions).
Cons:
I have to say I'm a comebacker to this tool. When Monday launched, I was there testing what they could offer, and I was very pleased with the UI and the easy way of using the tool's features. My problem was their pricing table for starters. So, after many months, I returned and checked (after being bombarded by advertising on a social network) if something was different from the beginning. It was a pleasant surprise they were still developing and changed some of the pricing tables.
Alternatives Considered: Wrike and Asana
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: I was looking for a more integrated solution. In general, that type of solution has a high learning curve; in the case of Monday, you can learn how to do things just by exploring, and if you have experience with tools like Zapier of Ifttt, creating some flows and increasing the tool functionality is easy.
Switched From: Trello and Asana
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Similar price but a better UI.

A huge assistance in keeping us on track with our job
Comments: As a group, we're making use of Monday.com. I had no idea what to anticipate, but I was pleasantly surprised right away. You should use this program if you want your team to be able to communicate and keep tabs on their progress. You may set up a "dashboard" for each project, assign individuals to each job, set a due date, and so forth.
Pros:
Our company made use of Monday.com. I've had a wonderful time with monday.com. Personal and business endeavors alike benefit from my usage of this tool. Using it, I'm able to get things done. Depending on the team's progress, each assignment might be given to one or more persons. It's the go-to tool for getting things done in general since we can do so much more with it.
Cons:
When more than two persons (3+) are involved in a project, a payment plan is required. A larger crew means a higher price tag. If you know how to utilize the tool effectively, taking a plan is in your best interest monday.com.

Very disappointed.
Comments: The tutorials were worthless. They went too fast and left out steps. I wasted hours trying to come up to speed. They had music and were very pretty. The ones I saw were by someone well versed in using the code and missed steps. After time being frustrated with the chat and then telephone support; they couldn't even make an appointment with someone to just help me get started and import my old CRM. I've worked with other programs and they have a link where you can make an appointment to get support. She wanted me to wait an undetermined length of time while she found an 'expert' to help. Two of their support people didn't know how to help me started. The first one suggested a video that wasn't helpful and missed steps in the process. Really? The tutorials should have been done with an expert watching new users to even show where the problems and startup issues appear. I had the feeling they wrote this software and made the tutorials for themselves not the new users.
Pros:
This program may have a huge number of capabilities.
Cons:

It's more robust than what I use it for, but does what I need!
Comments: Monday has helped me reign in processes around one project area in our organization and I've found it to be easy and friendly to use.
Pros:
Intuitive mostly, easy to get up to speed, easy for my team to learn. Allows me to customize what I need and came with prebuilt options that helped with a quick start. Monday's customer support team is absolutely STELLAR! They've always been incredibly helpful and friendly and their documentation is more up to date than many other SaaS products I've worked with. The sales team was also wonderful when I was starting up. The level of support they've offered was a lot of the reason I chose Monday!
Cons:
The only real con for me is the reporting mechanisms, but also, if it was really important I could build my own using the API, so that's a minor flaw. I just wish that I could archive things but still report on those.
Alternatives Considered: Asana
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: More organizational features, and company shifting away from Trello as a whole.

Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Friendlier software and sales and support staff. More intuitive setup. Pricing made more sense for my use.

Monday.com - Great for 2 -3 People, Expensive for Anything Larger
Comments: Overall, If I really understood the costs upfront, I would have been more hesitant to transfer literally everything to Monday.com. I felt that it was kind of a hidden surprise and not in a good way. However, the project management for 2-3 people was incredible. I was moving at light speed, so much so that I needed to expand to more users. However, money doesn't grow on trees and I was ultimately stifled by the growing cost of each additional user. It definitely helped me organize all of my ideas into neat little boxes that could be expanded and tracked, which really gave me a birds eye view of my business.
Pros:
At first, I loved Monday.com. The ease of use. The beautiful and simple design. I was enamored by every feature of this tool. Previously, I had notes jumbled on papers, in Apple Notes, and in Microsoft Excel. This was my solution to everything. I was able to transition all of my projects into one, sleek looking interface that inspired me to delve deeper into what was working about my company.
Cons:
After the trial period ended, I realized the prices skyrocketed for adding multiple users. That totally sucked because I already transferred my entire digital life to Monday.com. 1 to 3 people was a do-able price for my small business. However, when I wanted to include 7 or 8 people, it was too cost prohibitive for the income that we were generating. Every penny matters when managing a business and this was the straw that broke the camels back for my utilization of Monday.com
Alternatives Considered: Wix, iCloud, Eventbrite, Mailchimp, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: The ease of use and absolutely gorgeous design. And how it perfectly mimicked the desktop version on my phone. I was blown away. None of the other tools were able to come even close to the integration that I was able to achieve on Monday.com
Switched From: iCloud, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Monday.com was by far the most advanced tool and gave me all the features I was looking for in one easy to use interface. I was absolutely sold on it as soon as I really delved deeper into it. I found that I was able to run my business more effectively and initially had huge success implementing it.

I love Monday.com!
Comments: Where do I start? This software is very affordable, and really helps with small business management. I work in transportation and customs brokerage, and since we implemented Monday.com as our customer facing communication device, we have seen a huge reduction in confusion, less emails being lost, and more customer satisfaction.
Pros:
Easy to use, easy to manage, easy to implement. Monday.com portal software has improved our communications with our customers, and is extremely intuitive. Support is there if you need it, and they are consistently improving the features. I highly recommend!
Cons:
The only improvement I would suggest is that each time a member is mentioned, the task goes back to the inbox for review. For example, I use the inbox as a to-do list, but what I think is done may have more requirements. It would be nice if the follow ups showed back up on my inbox. It would also be nice to have a payment feature, but I think that may be a third party app we can include. I need to look into it.
Alternatives Considered: Google Sheets
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: Accelo was way over complicated and quite obviously made for IT personnel, and was not as adaptable to international trade situations as I had hoped. Accelo also created a lot of anxiety amongst the staff, so the switch was necessary to support our activities.
Switched From: Accelo
Reasons for Switching to monday.com: Monday.com was much more responsive on sales and allowed us several weeks to test it out, free of charge. I immediately fell in love with how easy it was to manage and implement.

Monday.com will elevate your entire business!
Comments: I highly recommend utilizing Monday.com to my clients, the customer service is out of this world and super informative and often include screen recordings to ensure you are clear on how to do whatever you may be questioning. I love the visual features to be able to operate your workspace in an effective way.
Pros:
I love the team and collaborative workspace it allows for so that you can truly work remotely as an operational and efficient team.
Cons:
I think it can be a little expensive to utilize from a start-up perspective and could be priced more fairly to smaller businesses.
Alternatives Considered: ClickUp and Asana
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: The type of clients I was working with it made more sense to utilize the features that this platform offers in one place for most efficient time spent.

A robust project management tool for every need
Comments: Monday.com helps team collaborate and manage projects of any sort and size easily, with fully customizable dashboards and task lists.
Pros:
Monday.com is almost too good to be true. It's flexible, it comes with a ton of customizations and automations, and it lets you manage any type of project in whatever way you please. We're using it daily and it makes our lives so much better. Oh, and their support is superb.
Cons:
First off, pricing. Monday is not cheap, and they charge by sets of seats instead of individual seats. So if you're a team of 6 - you have to pay for 10 seats, which - on a software that isn't too cheap - can be pretty annoying. On top of that, their Android app is sub-par, and I find myself using the mobile web version instead of the dedicated app.
Alternatives Considered: Trello, ClickUp and Asana
Reasons for Choosing monday.com: Monday seemed to be better suited for supporting larger teams and more projects simultaneously.

Monday.com Review
Comments: Over all my experience with Monday was a 50/50 split some things I loved and some things were lacking in functionality for what we needed. Overall I didn't hate it. At the end of the day it just wasn't what we needed to be productive. I think for other users who are using it for design, and business marketing it would be a phenomenal program and the price is very affordable even if you are a small company. Monday might be what you need to get your productivity up to become an even bigger company.
Pros:
I liked how Monday.com allows for easy collaboration with team members. It does take some getting used to for me it was easy to get used to because I am more of a computer person and have had many different experiences with a lot of different programs. Everyone else on my team is the complete opposite, however because of Monday.com's modern website design people were able to grasp it because the design is easy on the eyes if that makes sense. It is almost like an easy/drag and drop version of excel. Aside from the design I did love that there were different calendar views like Kanban view and the map view especially. The other things I loved was the forms integration, which made it easy to transfer our clients over from one program to another. As they came in they filled out the short form and were integrated into the calendar pretty easily. Lastly I loved the status column. I was going to use it to check in clients. Red for when they arrived to their appointments, Yellow for when they were waiting and Green for when they were done and waiting on their transportation back home.
Cons:
There were a couple of things that I did not like, which made us only use Monday for a short period of time. For one we are a mental health therapy center and we do A LOT of scheduling. While there is a template to schedule clients. It is more so for a few clients and not hundreds. We have multiple therapists and may want to view their appointments sometimes together and sometimes separately and Monday started to get somewhat bulky when trying to do this. We tried doing multiple boards for each therapist and then we tried doing each board as a day of the week and in the end we had too many boards and it was still and either you view this person or that person but not both. On top of that we also schedule activities with clients and that would have been a whole separate view as well. The last thing that we needed was to make recurring appointments for clients that are seen every Tuesday or for ones that are seen every other Thursday etc. This task was extremely bulky and involved using a 3rd party service.
Vance
One of the most robust project management platforms out there
Comments: Project management is so much better with Monday.com after we moved away from spreadsheets and emails in general. Everyone is kept up to date with the latest updates on tasks and projects, and there's a activity log, which makes it easy for everyone to know who made what changes, so there are no disputes.
Pros:
Robustness of the platform in terms of project management. Our team also likes the pretty confetti animations whenever we mark a task as done. The latest Christmas-themed confetti was a very nice touch and we had a lot of fun updating Monday.com, which is the whole point of project management - keeping the team up to date with the status of tasks and projects.
Cons:
There is not "mark all as read" in the notifications and inbox area, which can be annoying at times when you're back from long leave. Having that feature will significantly improve the UX and notification hygiene practices.
Alternatives Considered: Bloo, Trello, Basecamp and Asana

Jennifer
Great for cross-team alignment and for prioritizing my own very full plate
Comments:
Personally I feel far more in control of my workload across projects than before we used it. On a broader scale, it is working extremely well on a project we are doing with a range of internal tasks and functions as well as an external software developer and a separate person for support and testing. Everyone is clear on status and what is supposed to happen next. A third scenario where it has worked well for us is a couple of start-ups we are participating in with a further different set of people.
I enjoy using it and intend to broaden my use of the tool.
Pros:
I really liked that I could make it reflect our business world instead of having to tailor our world to the software as so often happens. I work with a number of different projects, organisations and people, as well as external service providers. It is quick and easy to create different Boards and spaces to best suit a particular project and then share with the relevant people. Unexpectedly, I also found it good to use as a library for references and info on different projects . Many teams may prefer using Slack or other team tools for that. I guess it depends on the size and complexity of your operation, and also what habits are already in place. Monday has interfaces for Slack and other tools but i have not tried them. I also like that you can use Monday for repeatable processes and light workflows, as well as projects and task management. The tutorials and info available help make it easy to see how to get the most our of the software. The phone interface is easy to use and makes it simple to keep tabs on what is happening, or add tasks and updates on the move.
Cons:
One thing I did not like is that as soon as you go over the number of invited guests permitted for your package, they commence a process to automatically upgrade you to a more expensive one. At least they do warn you so we were able to tidy up on guests and cancel the additional cost upgrade before it occurred. But I would far rather get a warning or error message when trying to add the guest that crosses the limit.

Cons:
Monday.com is a popular project management tool that allows you to track tasks and team members' progress. While it offers a user-friendly interface and helpful features like calendar integration, there are a few drawbacks to consider before committing to Monday.com. First, the pricing structure can be confusing and expensive for larger teams. Furthermore, Monday.com lacks robust support for file storage and version control, meaning that important documents may become scattered and outdated as your team continues to add new updates. Additionally, the mobile app can be glitchy and lacks some important desktop features, making it difficult for remote team members to stay on top of their tasks. Overall, Monday.com can definitely streamline your project management process, but it's worth weighing the cons before taking the plunge.
