Ring Central is very robust and the cost reflects that for the most part.
The sales dept made 3 appointments and no showed all 3 times. My inside support person is a a grouchy B---OTCH who wants to argue with me and tells me I am the only one every that has been unhappy.

Ring Central is a solid small business phone service
Comments: Overall we really liked Ring Central. The only reason we switched away was because a friend started their own VOIP phone service and we got to support them and use it for cheap. I really like Ring Central and have recommended it to several friends over the years.
Pros:
We used Ring Central for about a year and it was always pretty good. I really liked the mobile app because it allowed us to work remotely and not have to pay for phone service at our employees homes.
Cons:
The phone service only ever had a problem when the internet went down on our office or in my neighborhood. Ring Central was great, the internet was not reliable enough.

User friendly and easy to set up. Time and money saving
Cons:
no refunds on down time, you just have to call your sales team

Very good VOiP
Comments: Overall, our experience has been good we will be continuing to use RingCentral in the future
Pros:
The online portal is fantastic. It allows you to divert your calls very easily to a phone or even take them on your computer rather than your desk phone
Cons:
We do get several dropouts on desk phones a day Which sometimes makes it frustrating

Increasing Business Development Response Time
Comments: Overall, this software has changed the way our Business Development Team operates for our inbound marketing. It has made our response times to warm leads very minimal with getting a representative in contact as soon as possible. The dictation of voicemails has also changed the way we can provide a direct answer to a client even after hours.
Pros:
The ability to create call trees for different departments of our organization has been a game changer in our response time for leads.
Cons:
Some of the connectivity can be an issue between phone vs desktop application.
RingCentral MVP is great for internal collaboration
Comments: Although we do not love their customer service department, overall it is worth the money.
Pros:
It was easy to install, and it is easy to use.
Cons:
The customer service department is improving but it still takes a long time to resolve issues. There is a lot of waiting on hold for unimportant tasks.

Comments: RingCentral has been easy to use and implement and recommend for small or large businesses.
Pros:
The ease of use and ability for our sales team to be able to answer calls that are meant for our team during business hours, and have a simple and organized location for all after-hours calls.
Cons:
No specific cons at this time. Before, the app did not include HUD features which made it more difficult, but this has been addressed.

Incredible Phone Management
Comments: We have had an excellent experience using RingCentral MVP. It has been essential for our communication within our team and with our clients. I would recommend to any company looking to have great video and telephone communications.
Pros:
We utilize the ability to manage all our users phones and licensing form the admin portal. Uses connections are very reliable and the VoIP options help us be more mobile. The administration is easy to learn and setup. Users are able to quickly pick up how to use phones.
Cons:
If we had to pick a con for this it would be that it really makes you use their phones if you want a physical phone at desks. It would be nice to use other brands.
Alternatives Considered:
Streamlined Communication and Stellar Service
Comments: The platform's user-friendly interface made setting up and managing our phone system incredibly easy. The call quality was exceptional, ensuring crystal-clear conversations with clients and colleagues. The range of features, such as call routing and voicemail transcription, greatly improved our efficiency and productivity. Overall, RingCentral provided a seamless and reliable communication solution that greatly enhanced our business operations. Can't recommend this product enough.
Pros:
We used the optional onboarding PM for our deployment to free up time with our IT Department and it was well worth the investment. This allowed us for a seamless go-live deployment!
Cons:
While the admin user interface is nice looking, it can be a little daunting at first because configurations can be done many ways. Further to this, it is not possible to test a 'what-if' after you are done programming (for example what-if a call comes in on X and they do Y where does the call get routed) leaving you to deploy into production and potentially cause downtime or issues.
work smart not harder work from home
Comments: This was an absolutely vital tool during the pandemic.
Pros:
Being able to have my full class in the video conference.
Cons:
It's a bit difficult to do large video conferences requiring a bit of maneuvering.

Comments: Their platform is solid. The features are extensive. The call quality is good. The configuration backend is a bit wonky. They simply beg for feedback way way WAY too often. This has been going on for years.To everyone at RingCentral reading this. You DO NOT have consent to contact me or our company about this feedback. It's disgusting I now have to write this every time I leave feedback to not get a followup call.
Pros:
Features and functionality is great. Very extensive and works reliably. Apps are available for desktop, mobile, and tablet that all work pretty well (once you get past the takeover-popups)
Cons:
THEY. WILL. NOT. STOP. PESTERING. FOR. FEEDBACK. I cannot go 24 hours without a popup/takeover/email/phone call from RingCentral BEGGING me to tell them what I think of the software and to announce whatever new feature they released. Just this week, 3 different phone calls begging for feedback. This morning I get "Desktop app refresh" begging me to turn on the new interface which showed a dozen different "what this button does" "what that button does" popups. The tablet did the same thing yesterday and it took 5 minutes to get past all the "new feature" popups... every last one of them pointed to buttons and functions that have been there for years.The icing on the cake was a few months back I left them feedback about this very problem. I specifically selected that they MAY NOT contact me further about the issue. Not even an hour later they call me on the phone, interrupting me at work, to get more details... Had to block the number. A few days later they try calling my number 6 times in a row. When that didn't work they then called my boss to ask if he was the person to contact about the feedback. Meanwhile they emailed me about it twice with #NOCONSENT clearly written in the subject field.We use maybe a dozen different software packages/platforms for our business. RingCentral single handedly accounts for 80%+ of the "please leave feedback" and "check out this new feature" popups/emails.
RingCentral for the remote worker
Pros:
I love that I can use my ring central number instead of my work or personal cell phone number to reach clients. Since I work from home, I do not want clients having my personal or business number and ring central allows that. I can call a client via ring central and if they call me back it is through that number. Another great feature is setting do not disturb hours so that calls will not come in after business hours based on time zone. I also like that when I receive a call, I have the choice to answer via my mobile phone or computer since the application is on both.
Cons:
Nothing at this time, using this feature is a great resource to remote workers.

Is not seamless with my iphone mailbox
Pros:
I like how easily it integrates with my cellphone from a caller standpoint.
Cons:
I struggle to listen to voicemails from my RC calls. I wish they would forward to my regular voicemail inbox on my phone so that I do not have to go to the app.

Best tool for calls
Pros:
There were no technical errors at all while using the application, nor were there any call drops.
Cons:
Sometimes the messages are not delivered.

Ring Central is a Game Changer
Pros:
Being able to call being outside of the office and all calls showing as if you're calling from your office. Clients will never know if you're in the office or not.
Cons:
I don't like that I can't send text messages. Some colleagues can, but mine can't

Not the worst or best
Comments: We used this because Ringcentral was a client and we got a good deal on it. I prefer using the phone system built into Hubspot directly.
Pros:
Ring central covers the basics and is an industry leader. It is very good with computer/mobile integrations as well as recording and tracking calls.
Cons:
Not the best service, on voip connections at times.

Comments: Great product overall. Everything has its cons, but this is a great system.

Comments: Good, but can be excellent. I like all the features it has

I like all the features that the app has like choosing your schedule to receive calls, is very easy to transfer the calls.
Cons:
The app most of the time works very slow, and is not just in my computer because my colleagues has the same issue. I need to close it and open it back few times during the day

Ring Central - regular but not varied user review
Comments: Overall I've had a positive experience, I use the product mainly for outbound calling and it's reliable and easy enough to use.
Pros:
It's clear and easy to use. Has a nice user interface with clear, easy to define icons for different functions. Call quality is usually good too.
Cons:
I feel the log in process is a little long and unnecessary, it opens a few other windows during the process and I feel it could be streamlined.

Ring Central as a calling platform
Comments: In general Ring Central is a stable, reliable and flexible platform since it is cross-platform, in the last few days I have not had connection problems or crashes or failures. Calls are heard clearly and there is little flickering
Pros:
I like that it's a very complete platform, it's quite stable and its reports are easy to consult.
Cons:
One of the things I'm not a fan of is that, despite being a stable platform, it has delays in connecting calls (they are not very common, but they do exist)

Easy to Use and Convenient
Pros:
I like how you are able to use the app on your desktop or mobile phone. Makes it easier when you work from home.

At first the application was confusing to use but customer service was really helpful. So not really a con.

Great internet phone system for businesses
Comments: I have used this product for several years and find it super user friendly and convenient.

I love that i can download the app and call any pts from my personal phone with my business number showing up

Love this application for my small business
Pros:
I love that i can have the app ring out to my parents and show my business number even though Im using my personal cell.
