A fantastic CRM

Comments: I decided to go with OpenCRM to keep track of my business admin. I have found it indispensable for managing my projects, contacts and invoices. I previously relied on spreadsheets and text files, but the move to OpenCRM has helped tie everything together.

Pros:

Keeping track of projects and invoices, simplicity, ease of use, calendar functionality, integrations , customer service and help

Cons:

When I was first setting up, things took a while as I am quite a basic user. There were a lot of settings to switch off that I didn't need.

Easy to customise

Comments: OpenCRM is a fantastic mid-market CRM system, complete with helpdesk, invoicing, quoting, opportunity tracking, lead tracking, project tracking and email campaign functionality. It is certainly great value for money and the team really do care and want to assist you to get the most out of it.

Pros:

OpenCRM is incredibly easy to use and customise from views, to layouts to templates to workflows. The FAQ articles and support from the team at OpenCRM is fantastic. The product itself is continually developing and each feature enhancement makes it better and better.

Cons:

OpenCRM doesn't integrate amazingly well with other technologies, but it is getting their with the new Office 365 integration, Xero/Sage integration, Clicdata for dashboards, zapier for other integrations. It's a genuine work in progress. but the team are always willing to help. And the jotform integration for webforms was really stable.

Not the best

Comments: Not great. Our company has been using for a few years and as we have grown its failings have become more frustrating and apparent. We are changing CRM.

Pros:

it has all the features you would expect of an online CRM

Cons:

Its badly laid out and very buggy. We kept coming across things that didnt work. when we reported these bugs OpenCRM admitted they didn't work but if we wanted that functinoality we would have to pay for it. The email program is very bad and barely functions. The reporting system is also overly complex

OpenCRM does not have an email client, so we were left a little puzzled by your comment stating that our email program is 'very bad and barely functions'. It's always disappointing when we have been unable to quantify the areas that you were struggling with, and for that, I can only apologise. Our goal is a bug-free experience for our thousands of users. To clarify, we have never charged for bug fixing, and our approach to feedback around areas of the system that have genuine issues has always been to embrace the feedback to make our product better for our whole community. Great tool for Customer Relationship Management

Comments: We use OpenCRM every day and record just about everything that go's on in the company through this system. It is a critical piece of software for us and we are very happy to have found this tool.

Pros:

There are features within the software that are really critical to our business such as the contact management and email marketing options and just about everything gets recorded some way within OpenCRM. it is very user friendly and straight forward to use and it was implemented very easily into our company. The customer support is also great over the phone or chat and usually can sort any problem you may have fairly quickly.

Cons:

OpenCRM is very customisable and if something is missing or if you want to implement something yourself it can be done by the support team very quickly as we have done in the past on a few occasions.

Perfect CRM System for a Small Bussiness

Comments: As a Business we are extremely happy with our partnership with OPenCRM and would recommend this company. There customer service is second to none.

Pros:

When choosing a CRM platform we wanted a platform that could be moulded to the way we do business rather then a off the shelf product. Since introducing OPenCRM into our business in 2014. We have not been disappointed the majority of the modules are ideal for our set up and where needed have been customised to fit our needs.

Cons:

Some aspects of the system can be confusing however a quick call to the support desk normally clears up the confusion.

I would of liked to have tailored the tabs on the company module a little more but there is always a workaround, that's the beauty of it.

OCRM - breeze to use and superb value!

Comments: easy to quote, easy to send contracts - thats what I need.

Pros:

I came from being a regular salesforce user, to me what was a relatively unknown in the CRM world. Its easy to use, easy to quote and send contracts for customer signatures.

Cons:

none currently, I love it! I think if a user is deleted off the system, all their imprints are also gone - but i could be wrong?

OpenCRM Review

Pros:

The versatility is great. It has all the basics a CRM should have, but the ability to add-on items, or customize makes this a very useful tool. The ability to create jobs for individuals and contractors alike, giving our sales force the ability to see past jobs all in one location. With multiple locations, records are kept at our HQ, so being able to see historic data immediately instead of calling HQ and having someone pull a folder out of a box that is stored 16 feet in the air is very useful and time saving. Quoting. We have multiple supply vendors, each job may have 3 different vendors that supply inventory. We are now able to create a quote, attach the individual spec sheets, send a quote to a customer and have them eSign the proposals. Everything is consistent, whereas before each sales person would send it differently. This also has the added benefit of being able to see if the customer is working with a salesperson from another location, so duplicate quoting is no longer an issue, saves a lot of time.

Cons:

Well, let's start by saying we are in the United States, so it would be nice to have a switch that puts all the formats based on US preferences. It is one item at a time to get switched to US formatting, particularly dates and taxes. I still have some dates on reports, activities the are in dd-mm-yyyy formatting and it confuses some end users when they get an email with the date formatted dd-mm. I would like to have the project module views to be adjustable like the opportunity module. With different groups, they do not need to see the same information, so they end up getting all and it came be overwhelming. Adding an integration for quickbooks would be helpful, currently we have to manually type our quotes into quickbooks to be able to invoice.

Great CRM for a small business

Pros:

As a fairly small organisation, we find Open CRM easy to use with a handful of users. The support team are excellent when we run into any difficulties and is quick to help. I have used a range of CRMs in the past at previous organisations, some 4x the price of Open CRM but I haven't found them to be as effective or user friendly as Open CRM.

Cons:

The reporting is a bit confusing and could do with being made simipliar.

Brilliant Software

Comments: The experience of working with OpenCRM has been exceptional for us as a developing recruitment business. It is simple to use for beginners and the Customer Portal where we upload documents is great.

Pros:

The OpenCRM team were friendly and adaptable to make this software exactly how we required it for our business needs. It's functionality and user friendly interface mean we can carry out our tasks and invoicing with minimal fuss.

Cons:

It would be useful if Customer Portal Documents could appear alphabetically.

Powerful CRM at a faction of the cost

Comments: I'm very happy with the product, once you get over the initial configuration and setup of the product (which can be very granular) so that it works for your business its a very powerful tool, from small business up to the enterprise.

Pros:

This CRM product has everything that you need and when you need it, without the addional overhead of having to purchase every addon as you need it. This allows you to know that you have a very comprehensive feature set from day one. It has numerous integrations built in, for example JotForm, Xero, Mailchimp and Sage to name a few, which all help with the sale process and can help with the customer relationship.

Cons:

The interface can be outdated at times and features/options can be hard to find unless you know where they are. But the team at OpenCRM are working on updating the interface and the latest releases are looking much nicer and easier to use.

Great CRM software

Comments: Brilliant company to work with, with friendly supportive technical team. I've always found them a pleasure to work with and they are happy to investigate work around to any challenges we throw at them.

Pros:

Really good for general customer management and sales tasks, with brilliant report features.

Cons:

We are a training company and the event module can be a bit repetitive at times and clunky around the edges. It has got better and we have had some development work done to help meet our needs.

Excellent value software

Comments: Was able to introduce quickly (over the Christmas Break) some years ago and haven't seen anything better since.

Pros:

Straightforward. The basic CRM was simple for the team to pick up on. Logical installation. Good value.

Cons:

Would originally liked to have been able to have complex quotes that we could easily personalise from fields within openCRM. Sometimes people have had some oddities where you think you have given people the same functionality and security but they don't completely match and people don't receive all they should. Sometimes there are too many ways in which you can do things and it is dificult to get all to follow the same route-more a management issue!

OpenCRM .... excellent service

Comments: Excellent experience

Pros:

We are a small not for profit company and we found the other services software had lots of features that were not relevant to us, the features that were relevant were not easy to navigate. The OpenCRM team bespoke their software to meet our services needs and gave us training on how to use the range of features. Their help chat line is excellent ! quick and professionals.. please they talk through any steps in a way I (who has limited IT skills) can understand. We use the software daily.

Cons:

Nothing comes to mind- we have no complains about OpenCRM

Easy Open CRM

Comments: Having all the information in relation to companies, contacts and opportunities in one place makes life so much easier.

Pros:

Very easy to use and manage, the ability to easily change fields to suit our market place and produce relevant reports that assist the sales team do their job.

Cons:

Sometimes takes a while to work out how to change a column on a standard search result, but OpenCRM are always on hand to assist.

Great system and great value for money

Comments: This is the second time i have now introduced Open CRM to a company. Both companies i have brought this system in to have found that it works so well.

Pros:

I like how customisable the system is! Our company records information in different ways so being able to adapt the system easily is a key feature

Cons:

the only thing i do not like about the system is the colour. It is not always the easiest colours to work with

EASE of use and CLient tracking

Comments: Overall experience is excellent.

Pros:

Capacity to list and record multiple contacts, level of detail permitted and historic conversations.

Cons:

I am unable to see if a colleague has back dated an entry or time they contacted a client. In this instance, if an Acct manager has not made contact w a client for more than 3 months, the account can be requested by another AM. After requesting the account I have encountered instances where an entry was back dated in order to save the account being transferred. Is there a way around this?

OpenCRM for Business Development

Comments: Very useful. I like being able to import my excel lists into Open CRM to allow to easy documentation. Also great for exporting data for analysis Search function is good

Pros:

The ability to have everything in one place on one system. From initial lead generation, to creating quotes, to project management Open CRM covers everything. Search function is good

Cons:

Sometimes to find the relevant bits of information I find it to be quite click intensive. I need to open up a few pages to see something such as history of notes

We use it and rely on it.....

Comments: Our operation is a classic smaller growing business, everyone is busy! Having a central place to hold all of the histories on our interactions as well as being able to get a clear idea of responsibilities and who needs to do what - including key timescales for delivery on custom projects for our wholesalers, just makes our lives easier.

Pros:

We love the central point of truth for all our historic transactions.

Cons:

I cant say there is anything we dislike.

What's not to like about Open CRM

Comments: My sales, operations and support teams are all now "customer connected".
The Opportunities module helps drive our business forecasting.

Pros:

Great customer support (chat function is really useful), user adoption is easy, useful regular blogs to keep updating with new features. Straightforward to add fields, layouts and create reports.

Cons:

Dashboards a bit clunky but I probably need to spend more time finessing them.

User friendly - Does what it says it will

Comments: I use this all day every day, without it I could not do my job. This system was in place when I joined Hardies so dont know anything else.

Pros:

Its so easy to use and everything is tracked. No hiding here for amendments to things and has a clear audit of everyhing.

Cons:

It can sometimes be easy to click the wrong button or not open up properly when on mobile.

Great software with a fabulous support team to back it up

Comments: The team at OpenCRM have been completely supportive and helpful since we started using their software. The regular emails keep us up to date with any changes and improvements. Cannot fault the system or service.

Pros:

We are a small charity and the software enables us to have a database of contacts that we need to be in touch with regularly. User friendly and easy to get help and support when we need it.

Cons:

We have not found any negatives with the software

Systems Engineer review

Comments: integrating with internal systems keeping track of data

Pros:

I love how well documented the api is and how easy it is to customize the data that we want to fetch out of the api. I love how well it works with Tools such as clicddata. I really love how easy it is to contact the support team too.

Cons:

The only con I would say is I cannot pull the documents out of the sales orders - but I have created a URL link to this section.
