I’ve been using Hootsuite for the past year, and it has been an absolute game-changer for managing my social media presence. The platform's intuitive interface makes scheduling posts across multiple social networks a breeze, saving me countless hours every week. The ability to monitor all my social channels in one place is incredibly convenient and helps me stay on top of engagement and trends effortlessly. Hootsuite's analytics tools are comprehensive and insightful, providing me with detailed reports that help me understand my audience better and refine my strategy. I also appreciate the collaboration features, which make it easy for my team to work together seamlessly.

Cons:

There are a few drawbacks. The free version is quite limited, which might not be suitable for small businesses or individuals with more extensive needs. Additionally, some of the advanced features can be a bit overwhelming for beginners and might require a learning curve. Hootuite- Life changer experience

Comments: I love Hootsuite. It has helped to improve my social media presence without actually wasting any time. I love that I can choose to publish one post on different platforms with Hootsuite. I am very happy and thankful.

Pros:

I like that I can time schedule all the posts I want. Instead of going online and posting at that particular time, I can schedule when I want the post to go online.

Cons:

Sometimes it gets connectivity issues. Other than that, I don't find any problem.

Avoid Hootsuite

Mobile access and ease of use. Scheduling basic posts is simple.

Cons:

Hootsuite works awful with X Premium. Cannot schedule posts that go past the standard character limit. Can't schedule aa post of the file is bigger than 5mb.

Comments: Great, I had lack of experience in this sector and this has helped out tremendously, you can literary do anything for your network through the Hootsuite Dashboard

Pros:

Hootsuite has everything you could ask for in a social media marketing app, and using Canva templates considering Canva is my favourite app anyway for this kind of thing makes it that much better

Cons:

A few too many options sometimes, i feel they could have simplified the options on certain things which would have improved speed

Comments: I used this suite for a few months with the aim of improving social media presence, with quite appreciable results. However, the complexity in setting up some analytics functions and the rather high costs of the paid plans, led me to evaluate other simpler and cheaper products.

It's a solid social media management platform with team collaboration features. The dashboard's clear and intuitive design and the global view of multiple social media feeds in one place make it very reliable.

Cons:

Paid plans have rather high costs for small businesses compared to main competitors. Some advanced features like analytics or integrations may take time to practice.

Great for scheduling content ahead

Comments: We have used Hootsuite to post to numerous social media accounts and schedule content well in advance of sharing.

Pros:

We like that you can add all of your social media accounts to your Hootsuite and effectively manage them from one area.

Cons:

We found that the pricing has gotten to be a bit much considering that social media is not a #1 driver of our business model.

Comments: In overall, it's the best tool to use if you need to manage many social media accounts at once, particularly on Twitter and Facebook.

Pros:

Hootsuite is simple to operate; I really like that all the platforms I use can be shown on a single page, and the publisher screen makes it simple to see at a glance precisely what you're posting on each day across all of your accounts. You can just drag and drop to rearrange your articles, and adding images is just as simple. It couldn't be much better.

Cons:

I can't think of a single drawback to this system. Very user-friendly, it rarely experiences outages. You may relax knowing that the program will automatically publish your posts once you've entered them. In two years of use, I have never once seen a bug in this program.

Great Program for Social Media Management

Comments: Have been using Hootsuite for over 4 years now and really enjoy the platform as a whole. The analytics are not only precise but also have a great visual style to them which makes it a good addition for presentations to other members of the team.

Pros:

I really appreciate that Hootsuite runs seamlessly between different platforms. You can manage multiple platforms from the same account and it makes management for social media so much easier.

Cons:

It can be glitchy at times, it randomly disconnects and sometimes fails to posts but it happens very rarely.

Great Automated Software

Comments: great software, lots of functions not being used yet but the staff who dont use nothing but the insta app now love hootsuite

Pros:

Give the team more time to plan for future marketing, having it all on a calender ready to post is so much more organised. Feedback data from campaigns is amazing and shows us exactly how successful certain posts were

Cons:

Costings I think are a bit high however the time it is saving could prob justify this

My hub for social media management

Hootsuite combines all my social media accounts under one roof/board that is very simple to use. It saves time and effort by scheduling posts, tracking mentions, and analyzing performance across different platforms.

Free plan is good looking but advanced features like unlimited scheduling and in-depth analytics require purchasing a payment plan.

Comments: I wish Hootsuite had kept the limited free plan and I would have kept using it. However, once the price changed, it wasn't worth the money when I could get similar functionality from Later for much less.

Easy to use social media manager Love that it connects with so many different social platforms such as Threads and Google My Business

The price. There used to be a free forever plan but when that changed, it would be too expensive per month to keep. It's expensive compared to other social media schedulers.

Comments: My experience with Hootsuite was great. I love the ease of use of the tool, the fact that you could monitor competition and all the other features. Basically it's an all-in-one tool that every SMM should have.

Easy-to-use one-stop social media marketing platform - but moving out of budget range

Comments: Hootsuite has been an excellent tool for me while starting out in the role of marketing and communications for my Library, but given the skyrocketing price, we will not be continuing to use it. I appreciate all the integrations and time saving features, but this is not enough to offset the increase in cost, from my own personal perspective as well as from the perspective of our board's financial team.

Pros:

Hootsuite is a cohesive one-stop marketing platform that allows for management of multiple social media channels in one site. I appreciate the ability to create content for multiple platforms simultaneously, while still being able to tailor aspects of it such as post text, hashtags, and images size ratios, to specific platforms. Newly added integration with Canva further streamlined my workflow allowing me to create one design for all marketing for a particular program or service, then use it in print, digital, social, and internal marketing efforts. Hootsuite also offers a customizable analytics dashboard that allows me to see how well marketing efforts have done in a certain time frame, and break it down further by platform.

Cons:

The pricing has jumped dramatically, as per an email from the company last week, nearly doubling and making it unaffordable on our nonprofit budget. I am also less than satisfied with the analytics as a whole, as I was struggling to see the performance of particular posts as a single entity, and TikTok and YouTube analytics have not integrated well. I also find that since we have had to disable Facebook comments, I cannot do this in Hootsuite and need to manually go into Facebook after every post goes live and change this setting myself.

Comments: Hootsuite is a must-have for business owners, but also for content creators. Trust me, your life could be SO much easier -- just get this app!!

Pros:

I adore how much time this app saves me. I never have to spend time replicating and reposting content to every platform individually. That was so annoying and time-consuming! Now all I have to do is post from my Hootsuite account, and it will post the content to all of my platforms simultaneously!!!!

Cons:

I have no complaints about Hootsuite. I am loving the experience.

THE tool for employee social media ambassadors

Pros:

Excellent integration with supported social networks, easy post scheduling and customization, gamification leaderboard.

Cons:

Cannot mention LinkedIn entities from Hootsuite composer. This is a LinkedIn API limitation and not a Hootsuite one. Lack of support for the Fediverse, Threads, and BlueSky are glaring omissions.

Offers so much when it comes to Marketing Management

Comments: Loved using Hootsuite as my management tool, it connected with ALL my social platforms and was extremely easy to navigate. What's more, it presented a great customisable dashboard of all the states of your posts and ads.

Pros:

offers everything you need to manage and up your marketing strategy, plus more.

Cons:

Its price point is a little hard to swallow as a small business.
