A tool with seamless features
Comments: Overall, a definitely good-to-have tool if you do a lot of internal and external email campaigns. The learning curve is pretty narrow and can be operated by anyone.
Pros:
1. The new campaign builder is more robust and quicker. 2. Schedule features like time warp can help you get more opens and clicks 3. Audience and campaign feature is seamless and fast. 4. Drip and campaign setup feature can help you long campaigns on different conditions.
Cons:
1. HTML feature in content builder can be better, lack some basic HTML commands like center align, have to use padding for now. 2. Need a relatively better system, tends to hang on slow systems due to its browser consumption.
MUST have for early phases in startups!
Comments: It has been a solid tool for us to get feedback from new customers, bring customers back after being off the radar for some time, and turn leads into clients offering extra cashback on our loyalty website.
Pros:
Templates and features are amazing for startups trying to catch new leads or subscribers' attention. It worked as charm to bring them back to our website after their first visit.
Cons:
The interface started being slightly complicated to learn, but once you dive into it for a couple of hours, you can get the learning curve.
Great but too expensive.
Comments: Overall it was a great experience but the price hike is just not acceptable.
Pros:
Easy to upload and edit forms and no size limit.
Cons:
The ever increasing price that is not parallel with my small growing business
The Best Email Tool
Comments: I have been able to grow my website which serves two types of clients. However, I can create different campaigns for each, and keep both separate and organized. I'm able to send quality newsletters for each with guidance to ensure they do not go to spam and get opened. I can even see if I received sales.
Pros:
I have been using Mailchimp for over 8 years because it continues to enhance and upgrade the software to meet the competitive needs of the Internet for my two brands. With the ability to integrate it with my membership site and other software, I'm able to get more relevant subscribers. It is also free to use for the first 2,000 subscribers.
Cons:
When new to Mailchimp I had a difficult time navigating through the software for the first week of using it. However, this was many years ago, so perhaps new members may find it easier.
Alternatives Considered:
Very good and highly recommended Email Program
Pros:
Very easy to use and to integrate into our internal marketing and also to use for our clients.
Cons:
A little bit of a learning curve, but overall, not bad.
Alternatives Considered:
Strong Mass Email Solution for 2025
Comments: Mailchimp is our primary way of reaching our end-user base and has been a reliable and efficient way of keeping our customers in touch, as well as offering a strong range of integrations.
Pros:
Powerful flows, easy UX, analytics is presented well.
Cons:
Could have stronger ecommerce-specific functions.
not great .
Comments: About average until i looked at other products performing the same function.
Pros:
ease of use .
Cons:
over priced and network of consultants did not respond to my needs
The GOAT for all things email marketing
Comments: Love to use Mailchimp. A great easy to use platform for email marketing and lead gathering. Can drag and drop templates and blast them out to customers. Also comes with some basic insights to help with deciding what works and what doesn't
Pros:
Very easy to use and allowed for a great system to store customers' details and send targetted emails. Many new features and always evolving for the better.
Cons:
Limiting if you have an email database of 1000+ people as you need to pay for an upgraded account. No other big cons since they remade their visual design system so amazing now.
Mixed Experience with Mailchimp
Comments: In the beginning, I found Mailchimp easy to use for my email marketing needs, especially as I run a nanny agency. However, things took a turn when a hired worker added her name to my marketing email account without my knowledge. After she left, I realized the issue, but despite speaking with a representative and sending several emails asking for help, I didn’t receive the support I needed to resolve the problem. Unfortunately, I had to start from scratch with a different platform. It was frustrating because I had invested time into setting everything up, only to be left without a proper solution from Mailchimp.
Pros:
The interface is user-friendly, and it’s easy to get started with email campaigns.
Cons:
Customer support was disappointing when I encountered issues. They couldn’t help fix a major problem, and I had to switch to another service as a result.
Design your emails with Mailchimp!
Comments: It's been very pleasant. I'm able to create emails quickly. They're very helpful with advice on how to reach more engagement.
Pros:
It's easy to use. I've tried other services to design and send emails with but I always came back to Mailchimp.
Cons:
I wish there were more design features or made easier to insert custom code.
Alternatives Considered:
Mailchimp is as good as other more expensive competitors
Comments: I've used Mailchimp on and off for around 20 years. I'm starting a new business now, and although I'll shop around, I know I will be back to Mailchimp. I've never had any issues with emails going out, campaigns have been smooth. I can brand my emails and I'm trying to love analytics. The webforms are invaluable and there are always improvements and new features. My final note - there are so many email marketers now. Go with one that's beeb around a long time, like Mailchimp
Pros:
I've used most email marketing software but I always come back to Mailchimp. A huge bonus for anyone new to this form of marketing is that you can build and grow a list for free until you reach 500 subscribers. This gives new businesses the time to get to know the system, send emails and learn about analytics before committing to a paid plan. A lot of competitors offer a free month but Mailchimp goes further. And I've always reached that 500 quickly without that added pressure.
Cons:
I personally have found the interface not as clear as it could be. Mailchimp is a machine and I have to focus on each part at a time. I always find something new it can do. That's fun to try out though. It does take some getting used to. Start with the emailing and tack the rest on.
Alternatives Considered:
It is a very good tool to get started in the world of email marketing.
Comments: Overall it is a good experience, in fact, I have recommended it for clients starting out in email marketing.
Pros:
You can manage the whole marketing process in a solid way, with many functionalities. They have very well detailed guides about all the tools, functionalities and actions of each element.
Cons:
Sometimes sending automated emails can be a bit slow compared to other tools.
Alternatives Considered:
Great for startups, but design functionality can be limiting
Comments: I highly recommend Mailchimp to entrepeneurs, startups, or people just starting out with email marketing. Along the road you will likely want to migrate to a different system, but this is a great one to get started with, accessible, affordable and easy to pick up, which can't be said for a lot of marketing tools out there.
Pros:
I've used Mailchimp for almost a decade, across multiple businesses and sectors. It couldn't be easier to get started with, so it's excellent for marketing teams who don't have a dedicated CRM or email marketing expert. You can easily create and edit templates which streamline your workflow and allows you to concentrate on content, rather than coding or creating mobile optimised designs.
Cons:
Because it's automatically mobile optimised, there are a lot of limitations when it comes to design functionality. You have to adapt your idea of a layout to the Mailchimp platform - it's too complex to try to start editing the code and creating your own layouts, which are easily broken or become truncated in popular email clients. Generally this isn't a problem though unless you have a particularly picky client. I'm also not a huge fan of the CRM functionality, it's fine if you have a small database or minimal data work to do, but it's difficult to manage a large database (although you could easily integrate Mailchimp with other database management software if your budget allowed). I also had issues in the past with spam signups which weren't automatically flagged, making database management very manual.
Alternatives Considered:
Mailchimp. Email marketing with a wide array of diverse options.
Comments: I opted for Mailchimp because I was seeking a more feature-rich email marketing solution, and it was recommended by a colleague.
Pros:
The way you can see the actions from end users in your emails.
Cons:
Initially, it may be a bit challenging to grasp, but with comprehensive training, you can harness the full potential of the tool.
Alternatives Considered:
Very advanced and hassle-free email marketing software
Comments: Mailchimp has been a great boon for our email campaigns. We usually only run a handful regular emails each month, and we haven't really had anything to complain about on the email side. It's very easy to upload contacts and set up campaigns, and the reporting features are pretty advanced. It was also easy to set up which was a big plus for us. Good solution overall.
Pros:
I think we've benefitted the most from being able to pick and choose a design from the library rather than having to design something from scratch for each email campaign. Our design team is very very small, but thanks to having the email library, we've managed to minimize the design requirements for almost all email types.
Cons:
Some of the secondary modules don't work well. We wanted to switch from our survey tool to Mailchimp's survey module but the features are lacking and usually far behind our current solution, namely for advanced form fields like embeddable widgets and the calculated field option
Alternatives Considered:
Great for Anti-Spam Compliance
Comments: My overall experience with Mailchimp has been satisfactory. The ability to achieve compliance with anti-spam legislation is of sufficient importance to override the frustrations of working with the system.
Pros:
The best feature of Mailchimp is the ability to maintain a mailing list in compliance with anti-spam legislation. Although the platform is not specifically set up to comply with Canadian legislation, the user can manage their subscription so as to achieve compliance.
Cons:
Mailchimp can be clunky and non-responsive. When creating a mailing, the format appearing on the screen does not necessarily reflect the format that appears in the actual mailing.
Alternatives Considered:
Mailchimp is a solid tool that we use frequently
Comments: We have successfully used this tool for several years to engage with our customer base.
Pros:
It is very easy to manipulate the contacts with each audience, and further segment them into groups for campaigns.
Cons:
Even though their contact management is a solid tool, I don't like the search & edit functions for individual contacts.
MailChimp is a great product!
Comments: My overall experience with this software has been very good and am pleased with its intuitive nature.
Pros:
MailChimp is very intuitive and easy to use. Create your design/campaign piece, and then move to the campaign scheduler for the next steps. It's easy to use and once you have the hang of uploading images, you can do a lot within the design piece. Additionally, using templates is a great option to ensure that your branding is set for all users.
Cons:
I think the cleaning of the database prior to dissemination can be a problem if the agency has been a long-time user because people's tastes change over time. Just because someone has unsubscribed, doesn't mean that they want to be unsubscribed from all emails. Because our agency has just gone back to MailChimp in full force, the historical "cleaned emails" remain in our history and our team is working to refine the unsubscribe piece so that customers have more options and so that formerly unsubscribed folks have a chance to either fully unsubscribe again or edit their options to that they may receive event invites but not funding requests, as an example.
**"Mailchimp: A Reliable Choice for Versatile Email Marketing with Room for Improvement"**
Comments: Mailchimp offers a very user-friendly experience with many features and email marketing capabilities. It's intuitively designed, and very strong in automation and analytics, but a little limited on the pricing and deeper customization ends.Very suitable for most users; it may require alternatives for complex needs, though.
Pros:
I liked Mailchimp for its user-friendly interface, large library of templates, and fine automation features. Advanced segmentation, detailed analytics, and seamless integrations—are just a few things that turn it into a versatile tool for running and optimizing email marketing campaigns efficiently
Cons:
I liked least in Mailchimp the higher pricing for advanced features and larger lists. Moreover, it has basic AI content creation tools, and sometimes customization can be quite limiting compared to some more specific niche email marketing platforms.
Mailchimp is your go-to for engaging audiences!
Comments: I have been with Mailchimp for quite awhile and have loved being able to use their services to reach our audience! Definitely recommend to anyone who is trying to connect with a larger audience.
Pros:
Mailchimp is incredibly easy to set up and use. Being able to connect with our audience in meaningful ways is essential to the growth of our business.
Cons:
There are a lot of features that we don’t pay for or use, but they are on our dashboard anyway.
Mailchimp For Easy Email Marketing
Pros:
Mailchimp is a great addition to our marketing channels. Integrates with our website, allowing for effortless data capture. Mailing lists can be easily created and managed, and there are a robust selection of tools and templates available. We also make use of the messaging plug in.
Cons:
Subscriber based billing system - the more subscribers you have, the more you'll pay, which is par for the course, but it does encourage you to regularly cleanse your data and keep records up to date.
Mailchimp helps our business grow
Comments: Mailchimp has been a great partner for our business, helping us to put our brand in front of our audience with its great tools and features.
Pros:
I love being able to integrate Mailchimp with many of our other apps and services to ensure we are capturing useful data to build our marketing campaigns.
Cons:
I would love to see a small reduction in the cost per month for Mailchimp, however I do see value in it's features. The reason it becomes expensive for us is due to the currency conversion from USD to AUD.
Mailchimp is a Must Have Email Marketing Automation GURU
Pros:
Mailchimp allocates a wide array of features in one place from website builder to email marketing.
Cons:
The mild bugs that I experience get eradicated rapidly after contacting the support team.
Big Fan of Mailchimp!
Comments: Overall I love Mailchimp and it has really helped me create stunning emails to send out in one mass email. The click map is crucial and helps me to keep my clients happy.
Pros:
I am a big fan of mailchimp. I like how easy it is to create beautiful emails, and track who clicked on each link and view a click map, you can send your email out in a social share easily and replicate emails easily. You can start a chat with their customer service at any time, and they will not leave you without solving your problem which I immensely appreciate.
Cons:
It took me a long time to realize how to get moving ads inside the email, it has to be a GIF and it can be really tricky to do sizing. They had an update to move campaign manager where you can view all emails, and it's hard to find.
#1 Email Marketing & Automation Service Provider
Comments: Overall, Mailchimp is straightforward and user-friendly for its price, effectively fulfilling the essential tasks I require.
Pros:
I've successfully set up my MailChimp account to cater to nearly a dozen segmented lists. The flexibility of email templates and the option to design my own are crucial. The overall product, except for a few features (potentially limited by my pricing tier), appears highly customizable. I can schedule emails at my convenience, automate their delivery, and monitor the actions of my audience.
Cons:
My emails are used to seamlessly synchronize with my social media accounts. However, for the past 9-12 months, this integration has not been working. Due to a decrease in the number of emails sent this year, I haven't had the opportunity to research and address this issue in the Support Center. Nevertheless, I've noticed that the problem coincided with a significant redesign.
