Pros:

I love the many functions it offers, the ease of use, the customer support and help section, along with the forum, the price is outstanding and after trying out ALL the other options first, I can strongly say I wouldn't change a thing!

Cons:

There is nothing i don't like! It offers it all!

Ownerrez is THE Solution for Vacation Rental Management & Website Software!

Comments: My experience with Ownerrez has been 100% positive since I onboarded almost a year ago. The customer service is stellar; the program is user-friendly; the reports are easy to create; and, the website program is easy to set up, revise, and use.

Pros:

My number one favorite thing about Ownerrez is it has an amazing, responsive customer service team! The onboarding one-on-one Zoom meeting was a game changer for me, as I'm an older generation and not as tech-savvy as I'd like to be. My questions that I've had, to date, have been thoroughly answered in a timely manner and with respect and encouragement. I believe my learning curve was greatly reduced because I was able to ask questions and get immediate feedback. My second favorite aspect of Ownerrez, after the live customer service assistance, is the incredibly user-friendly library of videos covering, literally, every single aspect of setting up and using Ownerrez. Step-by-step, easy to understand, screen shots of every step; it makes it really easy to research something I need help with before I have to call or email for assistance. As my confidence has grown in maneuvering and understanding the workings of the site and my website through them, I've become more adept at finding answers myself. My third favorite aspect of Ownerrez is the website capability. I BUILT MY OWN WEBSITE, and I'm an old Boomer! It was that easy and, again, I had easy to follow, step-by-step instructions and access to a live customer rep when I had questions. I love my website and I'm comfortable maneuvering around the dashboard to make changes and/or look for specific data.

Cons:

My experience with Ownerrez has been entirely positive. I have nothing that would be a negative "likes the least" kind of issue.

Difficult onboarding

Comments: Not good. It appears to be a powerful system but zero training and support make it a nightmare. I had to plead for help for a 30 minute call because of problems. Both sessions lasted longer because it even took staff that long to help with 1 or 2 things, Not getting to all my questions. The person was helpful but this stuff takes time to implement. I started w 2 houses and have 2 more. One would think they would want to make sure i have a good experience to get more sales.

Pros:

Still new but using OR to manage multiple properties in 1 platform

Cons:

Onboarding is pretty much non existent. Would have eliminated 5 double bookings and days of waiting for answers if only they took 1 or 2 30 minute sessions for a call. Most of time, you email with a problem and wait. Sometimes for 24 hours before getting a response.

Cons:

I haven't encountered any significant issues or drawbacks that would warrant criticism. OwnerRez consistently delivers on its promises and continues to impress with its ongoing updates and improvements. So, while I understand the importance of balanced feedback, I must honestly say that I have yet to find a con with OwnerRez.

OwnerRex is all you need!

Comments: Fantastic! Definitely the best channel manageement system end-to-end with a superlative support team.

Pros:

Effectively managing a short term rental is complicated. I did a lot of research and even tried another channel management system before settling on OwnerRez. It's a very powerful platform for not only channel management but, through its best-of-breed integrations, facilitating every aspect of your SRT business. Most importantly, they provide the best support I have encountered for any software product -- full stop. Beyond extensive online support, they are behind you every step of the way with insightful answers and suggestions that that make it clear you are dealing with a team with deep knowledge of and passion for the STR business.

Cons:

There is nothing not to like. As with any business software, you get out of it what you put in, but the effort will pay dividends if you are serious about optimizing your STRs.

OwnerRez: more than a channel manager!

Comments: Exceptional! OwnerRez, the product, has allowed me to do what I needed to do to be able to offer Direct Rentals to potential guests. The software does everything I need it to do: syncs calendars across all channels, streamlines email communications with guests, automates communications with guests, manages all channels, accepts credit card payments securely through Stripe, and most importantly, we can purchase Damage Protection to protect our property from potential losses that are so risky with renting to people you do not know. I could not find any other company that offered this to us. Your support staff are exceptional. I have had very positive interactions with others at OwnerRez as well, if only in email.

Pros:

My account rep, [sensitive content hidden] has been immensely helpful!! So I am sold on OwnerRez, not just on the software product, but on the PEOPLE who represent your product. Pam has been patient, kind, helpful, knowledgeable, responsive, and motivating to me. She made me feel like I could handle the task at hand. She took baby steps with me, and gave me all the time and attention that I needed to successful get onboard. If ever I need assistance, she is always responsive, and timely. She knows the product well, and represents it well.

Cons:

Honestly, I can't think of a thing. I am a satisfied customer, and have been promoting it online on various FaceBook groups/threads.

Excellent property management software

Pros:

I managed my two beach properties for a year without using a property management software to help, so when I took the plunge to purchase OwnerRez, I was very nervous because of the enormous growing curve that I had trying to get familiar with it. I had no experience using any software of any kind, but the customer service I have received from OwnerRez over the last two years has been exceptional. They have answered every question I have had with not only the highest level of competency but also with such kindness and patience. In a world where excellence and integrity are sadly lacking in practically every service industry, OwnerRez stands out above the rest. Their user friendly software and superb customer service have allowed me to run my business with efficiency and excellence. I am very pleased and would highly recommend them to others!

Cons:

I do love having all my questions answered over email within usually 24-48 hours, but there are times it would be helpful to have a phone number I could call to get a quick answer.

Get the CONNECT service

Comments: Once I got on the connect team and connected with one of their members by the name of Layla, who was absolutely amazing she was patient she was kind she was understanding she listened. She outlined our calls, followed up on things went over things if I had questions concerns. She is an amazing person and I truly enjoyed our one on one’s and learned SO MUCH! I appreciate OwnerRez and the way that they go with their web meetings. I belong to numerous Facebook groups that support OwnerRez. I find that they have numerous resources that are invaluable to me as I go through the process of learning more and more about the software that manages my business. I feel confident now because of Layla’s help and everyone there at OwnerRez helping go over the things that need to be set correctly in the software. I feel like I am set up for success. I look forward to many bookings on my website!

Pros:

I chose OwnerRez my number one reason was that it was an American based company and I was speaking to Americans everything after that was gravy

Cons:

So far, I don’t have a least that I like about OwnerRez. I have nothing but good things to say at this point in time I truly believe this is a amazing company that would help many people that are trying to do short term rentals especially if you have several.

Amazing setup and support

Comments: So happy I switched from Evolve over to self-managing with OwnerRez. The whole setup I have now is fantastic. The software works like a charm.

Pros:

Onboarding guides, support content, and knowledge of help staff is superb.

Cons:

Can take a while to work out all of the details, but well worth the effort.

OwnerRez is top notch!

Comments: My wife andI decided to self-manage our STR and decided to use OwnerRez as our PMS. We could not have been more pleased with our decision to use OwnerRez. I love the transparency of the pricing and the onboarding process has been stellar. OwnerRez is top notch PMS that I would highly recommend.

Robust system with amazing support

Comments: I recommend OwnerRez to every property manager I meet. Enough said.

Pros:

It covers everything I need it to do. They're always adding more features. Customer service is timely and knowledgable.

Cons:

Because it's so robust, it can be overwhelming to get started. But their videos, and more importantly, customer service is second to none. A rep spent hours with me getting things set up in the beginning, and I will never forget how much I appreciated and valued that help.

Easy and Intuitive

Comments: The experience has been excellent. I am very happy that I moved to OwnerRez.

Pros:

I find OwnerRez to be very intuitive for me to use. After a couple weeks, I really felt like I could navigate and accomplish everything necessary to run my business.

Cons:

I wish there was a unified mailbox so that I can see all messages in the same place. I also need better messaging integration and notifications with Vrbo communications.

Great Software, Great Price, Great Support - What's Not to Love?

Comments: They are just an overall complete solution... Great Price, Great Support, Great Feature set. I wish I would have found them before I made the mistake that cost me thousands of dollars in implementation costs and improperly collected (ie not collected) taxes.

Pros:

OwnerRez is full featured Property Management software. Our goal when embarking on the journey of finding a solution was to be as hands off as we could be. With OwnerRez someone can book a property, pay online, receive all communications needed for arrival, have door locks added to the appropriate home automation system and have the cleaning scheduled. (Granted there are some 3rd party integrations here but the integrations are so solid that we don't have to worry about them) OwnerRez is easy to use. The database is built in a way that it is fully relational. You can look at a guest, see all of their bookings, click on the booking and have all relevant data including communications to/from the guest right there at your finger tips. Support with OwnerRez is top notch. I've never talked with them on the phone but their email response times are exceptional and their solutions detailed and comprehensive. You do not have an "expensive" onboarding team to walk you through step by step... but with OwnerRez we didn't need it. Watched a couple of videos, followed some checklists and we were up and running in a matter of a week. We spent 5 weeks with another solution and when it came time to go live we had one OTA connected and it was not calculating tax correctly. Literally we had all OTAs connected to OwnerRez in a week and were managing our complete portfolio with virtually no hiccups.

Cons:

OwnerRez is extremely feature rich. I wanted a single solution for all aspects of our business but ultimately I have decided to let the experts in Housekeeping and Guest Portals do what they do best and just integrate to OwnerRez. Perhaps someday they will add that functionality.

Comments: OwnerRez is amazing! I own a small rental and I have extra challenges due to living with a disability, and I have always received the most helpful support. A lot of other companies would place me on a low tier for support due to the volume of our business. But I have a high standard for my business, no matter how small (we’re rated the Most Hospitable Host in our province), and they’ve helped me keep it up. They have a ton of support articles, always keep us in the loop with their planned updates, listen to all our ideas for future development, and they make us feel like part of the team. I rave about them all the time to my fellow hosts.

Pros:

A loooong list of pros. - Their system is thorough & detailed (do give yourself time for the learning curve) - Everything can be customized and even overridden for specific bookings if you want- Reliable, top of the line API connections with pretty much any booking platform- Couldn’t have been easier to add their widget to my wordpress site for direct bookings- Easy to share the calendar with my cleaners & manage booking windows- Best customer service. Seriously.

Cons:

My cons list gets smaller every month with every update OwnerRez puts out. But here are the challenging parts of the software at this point in time:- Messaging is a bit tricky to master, as system messages & custom templates are in different sections. No ability to customize message templates ahead of time for individual guests, so if I want to add a personal note to a scheduled message I have to set myself an alarm to do it manually right before it’s scheduled. - No ability to create single-use discount codesYou do have to pay close attention when setting things up, as there are a LOT of settings and it’s easy to get one wrong. But this isn’t a con, just a heads up. A huge part of OwnerRez’s magic is how much customization they can handle.

OwnerRez is the comprehensive solution for Vacation Rental Providers

Comments: OwnerRez helps us automate 90% of our hosting business. We wouldn't be scaling the way we are while offering guests a memorable experience in our homes without the flexibility and reliability offered by OwnerRez.

Pros:

OwnerRez is a cost effective and flexible PMS for vacation rental providers. The engineering team is constantly rolling out new features and 3rd party integrations that help us continue improving the overall guest experience pre-stay, intra-stay, and post stay. Support has been amazing and allows me to focus on what we do best, which is offer our guests an unforgettable experience in our homes!

Cons:

OwnerRez is so flexible it tends to spoil you, so being able to think of new features we'd like to have can sometimes be overwhelming for the engineering team. I don't think this is a problem with OwnerRez, but more of a function that when you offer such a great service, customers continue to want more and more features and 3rd party integrations!

OwnerRez a MUST for newbies or seasoned professionals to use for STR's

Comments: Overall, it's been the BEST, most satisfying learning curve as I feel genuinely supported and encouraged by the OR team and understand how MUCH the software (and people) can offer to my new rental business.

Pros:

Once "trained" with help from ProConnect, I felt much more confident in navigating ALL the various options OR provides

Cons:

When I first signed up, I felt overwhelmed with the vast amount of information available on OR (via video tutorials and help docs). The sheer amount of information made me nervous, but once I worked with Customer Service/ProConnect (Lisa M), all my worries faded and I began to understand the processes much more and my confidence in using the software grew exponentially

Five Stars!!!

Pros:

Five Stars!!! - OwnerRez is a great company and a fabulous property management solution. Their platform is user-friendly, packed with essential features, and provides excellent customer support. Highly recommended for anyone looking to manage their vacation rental properties efficiently!

Starting up, learning everything, not having a support phone number.

An absolute must have!

Pros:

If you are considering learning and implementing this software do not hesitate even for a second. It was the best decision I made and never once regretted it. There are so many amazing features and benefits to this software. From having guests sign a lease that’s automatically emailed to them to collecting payments automatically for VRBO to the direct booking website they build for you…. The pros are endless. There is so much value here!!!

Cons:

You have to be willing to spend the time to learn it. Take one feature and master it. Be patient. Once you set it all up it works so amazingly well. It saves so much time and is so worth it at the end.

Best functionality for the price

Comments: Great experience overall! The OR team is very responsive and helpful. Using OR has streamlined my channel managment and automated previously manual business processes which has freed me up to focus on more strategic business objectives. They also worked well with my website designer as she brought my website online, using OR as the booking engine. Bottom line, it has made running my business a whole lot easier. Wish I had done it sooner!

Pros:

I was able to get my properties and channels set up quickly and the customer service is top notch. The features I like most include: booking engine for my website; multi-channel (VRBO/AirBnB/my website), multi-property calendar management; payment processing; automated messaging and messaging options/flexibility; third party notifications (which has automated previously manual processes); ability to manage content/rates for multiple channels on a single platform and more! It's worth it just for that and there is more functionality I look forward to using in the future.

Cons:

Sometimes I have to dig around a little if I'm doing something new or something I don't do often, i.e. it's not always intuitive (for me) where functionality resides on the platform. Of course there's a learning curve with any new software and this is no exception. But their customer support group is always quick to respond and extremely helpful. FYI - I have been using OR for about 4+ months.

The absolutely best software for vacation rental owners to manage bookings, emails, etc.

Comments: My experience has been better than I expected. Because I am not very computer savvy, I really appreciate their suggestions and links to where I need to go.

Pros:

Anytime I have a question and contact OwnerRez I hear back from them very quickly. They always answer my question, but also make suggestions for things they notice on my site with them that could use some tweaking. I love that because I am with OwnerRez I am able to require accidental damage insurance for all bookings, regardless of where they originate from. Without OwnerRez I would not have been able to do that since Inhave only 2 vacation rentals.

Cons:

There is nothing.in I don’t like. It has done everything and much more than I expected.
